    Pharmacological properties

    Pharmacodynamics. Kratal has a mild cardiotonic, antianginal, antioxidant, antiarrhythmic, antihypoxic, antiplatelet effect. inhibits the renin-angiotensin and kallikrein-kinin systems, sex processes, positively affects the production of cAMP. improves blood supply and functional state of the myocardium, increases coronary reserve, improves contractile and pumping functions of the heart muscle, reduces blood pressure and normalizes heart rate.
    Kratal reduces the severity of signs of digitalis intoxication, increases efficiency, improves mood, has a calming, neuroprotective effect (eliminates somato-vegetative disorders - irritability, mood lability).
    Pharmacokinetics. The components of the preparation are almost completely absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract. The time during which the Cmax of taurine and other components of the preparation in the blood plasma is reached is 2 hours. Cratal is evenly distributed in the tissues and body fluids. Its main amount is excreted in the urine, T1 / 2 - 6-8 hours.

    Indications

    Cardiopsychoneurosis; as part of combination therapy for chronic ischemic heart disease, post-radiation syndrome.

    Application

    The duration of treatment and the dose is determined by the doctor individually. the preparation is taken orally, 1-2 tablets 3 times a day before meals. the course of treatment is 3-4 weeks.

    Contraindications

    Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation; severe bradycardia and arterial hypotension.

    Side effects

    Possible manifestations of hypersensitivity, allergic reactions (including hyperemia, rash, itching, swelling of the skin, urticaria), dyspeptic symptoms, general weakness, increased fatigue, dizziness, drowsiness, arterial hypotension, bradycardia.

    Special instructions

    Do not exceed the recommended doses of the preparation.
    If during treatment with the preparation the symptoms do not disappear or intensify, you should consult your doctor.

    Use during pregnancy and lactation. To date, there is no data on the use of the preparation during pregnancy and lactation. The preparation is contraindicated for use during pregnancy.

    Children. There is no experience of using the preparation in children.

    Interactions

    It potentiates the antianginal effects of nitrates, calcium antagonists, β-adrenergic receptor blockers, antihypoxants, neuroprotectors, cardiac glycosides. reduces signs of digitalis intoxication. the preparation should not be used together with class III antiarrhythmic preparations, as well as cisapride.

    Overdose

    Symptoms hypersensitivity reactions, allergic reactions, dyspeptic reactions, general weakness, fatigue, dizziness, drowsiness, arterial hypotension, bradycardia.
    Treatment. Cancellation of the preparation and carrying out symptomatic therapy.
