    Product description

Capsules vaginal transparent, gelatinous. The contents of the capsules are light yellow powder with a brownish tint.
Lactobacillus casei is a Gram-positive, rod-shaped, anaerobic, non-spore-forming bacterium. Lactobacillus casei is the normal obligate flora of the human oral cavity, intestines, vulva and vagina. Lactobacillus casei, along with other species of lactobacilli (including Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus fermentum, Lactobacillus cellobiosum), are present in the normal flora of a woman's vulva and vagina.
Colonization of the vagina with live rods Lactobacillus casei rhamnosus Doderleini creates a similar physiological environment in the vagina. The Lactobacillus casei rhamnosus Doderleini strain in the composition of the Lactoginal preparation has antagonistic activity against a wide range of pathogenic and opportunistic bacteria (including Staphylococcus spp., Proteus spp., enteropathogenic Escherichia coli), improves local metabolic processes and helps restore natural local immunity.
With the introduction of the capsule of the preparation Lactoginal into the vagina, the gelatin shell of the capsule dissolves with the release of a lyophilized culture of live lactobacilli.
It has been shown in vitro that Lactobacillus casei rhamnosus Doderleini, within a few hours after administration, leads to the necessary decrease in pH, contributing to the restoration of the natural microflora of the vagina.
Deficiency of lactobacilli is one of the important factors in the development of vulvovaginal candidiasis. Lactobacilli are physiological antagonists of yeast-like fungi of the genus Candida due to the secretion of antifungal substances and competition for receptors on vaginal epitheliocytes (suppress the attachment of Candida fungi to vaginal epitheliocytes, inhibit their growth and reproduction).
The results of a clinical study showed the effectiveness of Lactoginal in restoring the normal microflora of the vagina and preventing recurrent vulvovaginal candidiasis when used after completion of antifungal therapy.
