Lactulosum 7.5g / 15ml is a preparation from the group of laxatives and osmotic preparations. The active substance of the medicinal product is lactulose (synthetic disaccharide), which in the colon is a source of energy for saccharolytic bacteria that inhibit the development of the proteolytic flora. Lactulose promotes the treatment of gastrointestinal diseases, alleviates coma symptoms, and prevents and treats portal encephalopathy. It is not digestible and is not absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract. It enters the large intestine unchanged. By inhibiting decay, it reduces the production of ammonia, and by lowering the pH of the colon environment, it reduces the absorption of ammonium salts, which are excreted in the faeces. It stimulates intestinal peristalsis and has an osmotic laxative effect. The amber glass bottle contains 150 ml of syrup.
Chronic constipation.
Acute liver failure with pre-coma and coma.
Chronic liver failure with increased blood ammonia levels.
15 ml of syrup contains:
Active substance: 7.5 g of lactulose (Lactulosum)
Excipients: citric acid monohydrate, liquid mangor aroma, purified water.
The preparation promotes the treatment of gastrointestinal diseases, alleviates coma symptoms, and prevents and treats portal system encephalopathy.
It inhibits the development of the proteolytic flora (lactulose).
It stimulates intestinal peristalsis and has an osmotic laxative effect.
