    Product description

    Lakripos® Gel is a medical device in the form of a moisturizing gel that soothes irritation of dry and tired eyes. Refreshes and restores the feeling of visual comfort. After instillation, it creates a layer on the surface of the eye that protects against irritation caused by dryness. It soothes the symptoms of itching and burning.

    Long-term work at the computer or air-conditioned rooms can cause unpleasant symptoms of dry eyes. Working in front of the screen, we blink less frequently, which means that tears evaporate faster. Lakripos® Gel eye gel helps soothe these ailments by moisturizing the surface of the eye and restoring a long-lasting feeling of freshness.

    Application

    Refreshing and soothing eye irritation and moisturizing the eye surface in case of dry or burning sensation.

    Usage method

    • The dosage of the preparation should be determined individually, according to the patient's symptoms and recommendations of the ophthalmologist.
    • Typically, one drop is instilled into the eye 3 to 5 times a day.
    • Avoid contact of the tip of the tube with the eyeball or with the skin during application.
    • Remove the protective cap. Then, tilt your head back and move the lower eyelid of your eye away with your index finger.
    • Holding the tube in an upright position over the eye with the other hand, apply one drop of the gel to the conjunctival sac.
    • Then carefully close the eyelids.
    • The gel should be instilled into the eye by gently pressing the tube without bending or curling it.
    • After using the gel, put the protective cap on the tube.

    Ingredients

    Carbomer 980 - 2 mg / g, cetrimide, sorbitol, sodium hydroxide, sodium edetate, water for injections.

    Contraindications

    • The preparation should not be used by patients who are allergic to cetrimide or any other ingredient of the preparation.
    • In very rare cases, hypersensitivity reactions such as redness or burning may occur.
    • In this case, stop using the preparation and consult an ophthalmologist.
    • Do not use on contact lenses.
    • Before administering the preparation, remove the lenses.
    • After injection, wait 15 minutes before putting your lenses back in.

    Important tips

    • Lakripos® Gel should be stored at room temperature (15-25ºC).
    • Do not use after the expiry date stated on the package and tube.
    • If the above recommendations are followed, the gel can be used for four weeks after opening.

    Warnings

    • Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
    • Temporary blurred vision may occur for a few minutes after administration of the preparation. During this time, you should refrain from driving, operating machinery or performing any work without stable footing.
    • Do not use the preparation simultaneously with other ophthalmic drugs. If you need to use other ophthalmic preparations in the form of eye drops, wait about 15 minutes before applying Lakripos® Gel.
    • Do not use the eye ointment earlier than 1 hour after instilling Lakripos® Gel.
