Lasolvan® is a mucolytic agent that reduces the viscosity of sputum and improves its removal from the respiratory tract, facilitates expectoration and reduces cough.

Ambroxol hydrochloride - the active substance of the preparation - increases the release of pulmonary surfactant, which leads to the thinning of sputum in the respiratory tract in acute and chronic bronchopulmonary diseases associated with disorders of the removal of viscous mucus.

It has an anti-inflammatory effect, reduces pain and redness in the treatment of diseases of the upper respiratory tract.

Indications for use

Secretolytic therapy for acute and chronic bronchopulmonary diseases associated with violation of bronchial secretion and weakening of the promotion of mucus.

Contraindication

Lasolvan®, a solution for inhalation and oral use, cannot be used in patients with hypersensitivity to ambroxol hydrochloride or to other components of the preparation.

Method of application and dosage

1 ml of solution for oral use and inhalation = 25 drops.

Solution for inhalation

Adults and children older than 6 years: 1-2 inhalations of 2-3 ml per day.

Children under 6 years: 1-2 inhalations of 2 ml of solution per day.

Features of the use of Lasolvan®, a solution for inhalation:

Can be used in all modern inhalation devices (except steam inhalers).
It should be diluted in a ratio of 1: 1 with physiological saline to ensure optimal humidification of the air released by the device.
It should not be mixed with cromoglycic acid. It should also not be mixed with other solutions in a mixture with which the pH of the solution exceeds 6.3, for example with alkaline salt for inhalation (Emser Salt).
It is usually recommended to warm the solution for inhalation to body temperature before starting the inhalation.

Solution for oral use

Adults and children over 12 years old: 4 ml 3 times a day for the first 2-3 days, then 2 ml 3 times a day. The dosage of 4 ml 3 times a day can be extended after consulting a doctor.
Children aged 6-12 years: 2 ml 2-3 times a day.
Children aged 2 to 6 years: 1 ml (25 drops) 3 times a day.
Children under 2 years: 1 ml (25 drops) 2 times a day, which is 15 mg of ambroxol per day.
Lasolvan®, a solution for inhalation and oral use, should not be used for more than 4-5 days without consulting a doctor.

Children

The preparation can be used in children. For children under 2 years of age, the preparation is used only as prescribed by a doctor.

Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding

Pregnancy. As a result of clinical studies of the use of the preparation after the 28th week of pregnancy, no harmful effects on the fetus were found.

Breast feeding. Lasolvan® is not recommended for use during breastfeeding.

Composition

Active substance: ambroxol hydrochloride; 2 ml of solution for inhalation and oral use contains ambroxol hydrochloride 15 mg.

Excipients: citric acid, monohydrate; sodium hydrogen phosphate, dihydrate; sodium chloride; benzalkonium chloride; the water is purified.

Storage conditions

Store at a temperature not higher than 25 °C. Keep out of the reach of children!
