    Product description

    Lecadol Long is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory and antirheumatic agent.

    Use for the symptomatic treatment of back and muscle pain, rheumatic pain, pain in mild arthritis, headaches, including migraine, toothache, dysmenorrhea, symptoms of colds, flu and fever.

    Compound

    1 film-coated tablet contains 200.00 mg of ibuprofen and 500.00 mg of paracetamol;

    other components: corn starch, crospovidone (E 1202), colloidal anhydrous silicon dioxide (E 551), povidone (E 1201), pregelatinized starch, talc (E 553b), stearic acid;

    shell: polyvinyl alcohol (E 1203), talc (E 553b), macrogol 3350 (E 1521), titanium dioxide (E 171).

    Contraindications

    • patients with individual hypersensitivity to ibuprofen, paracetamol or to other components of the preparation;
    • patients with a history of hypersensitivity reactions (for example, bronchospasm, angioedema, bronchial asthma, rhinitis or urticaria) after taking ibuprofen, aspirin, or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory preparations (NSAIDs);
    • with gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer / bleeding in an active form or with a history of relapses (two or more severe episodes of peptic ulcer or bleeding);

    Mode of application

    Adults use 1 tablet up to 3 times a day with an interval between doses of at least 6 hours. Drink the tablets with water.

    If 1 tablet does not eliminate the symptoms of the disease, 2 tablets should be taken per dose, but no more than 3 times a day. The interval between doses should be at least 6 hours. Do not take more than 6 tablets (3000 mg paracetamol, 1200 mg ibuprofen) per day.

    Application features

    Paracetamol should be used with caution in patients with severe renal and hepatic impairment. The risk of paracetamol overdose is higher in patients with non-cirrhotic alcoholic liver disease. In case of overdose, immediate medical attention should be sought, even if the patient is feeling well, due to the risk of delayed serious liver damage.

    Pregnant

    The use of this preparation is not recommended during the six months of pregnancy and is contraindicated in the last three months of pregnancy.

    Children

    Should not be used in children under 18 years of age.

    Drivers

    The medicine has little effect on the ability to drive vehicles or work with other mechanisms. After taking NSAIDs, side reactions such as dizziness, drowsiness, fatigue and visual impairment may occur. Patients who report such reactions should refrain from driving vehicles or working with other mechanisms.

    Overdose

    Paracetamol

    Symptoms of a paracetamol overdose in the first 24 hours are pallor, nausea, vomiting, food aversion, and abdominal pain. Liver damage can manifest itself 12–48 hours after an overdose, which is reflected in the deviation of liver function tests. Disorders of glucose metabolism and metabolic acidosis occur.

    Ibuprofen.

    Most patients who have used clinically significant amounts of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory preparations may experience nausea, vomiting, epigastric pain, or, very rarely, diarrhea. Tinnitus, headaches, and gastrointestinal bleeding may also occur. In more severe poisoning, toxic damage to the central nervous system can occur in the form of drowsiness, sometimes nervous excitement and disorientation or coma.

    Side effects

    From the side of the blood and lymphatic system: disorders of the hematopoietic system (agranulocytosis, anemia, aplastic anemia, hemolytic anemia, leukopenia, neutropenia, pancytopenia and thrombocytopenia).

    From the immune system: hypersensitivity reactions, including urticaria and itching, severe hypersensitivity reactions.

    From the side of the psyche: confusion of consciousness, depression and hallucinations.

    From the nervous system: headache, dizziness, paresthesia, optic neuritis and drowsiness, aseptic meningitis.

    From the side of the organs of vision: visual impairment.
