    Product description 

    Lenzetto transdermal spray is used for hormone replacement therapy (HRT) in the presence of symptoms of estrogen deficiency in postmenopausal women (in women with no menstrual bleeding for at least 6 months or women with surgical menopause with a preserved or removed uterus).

    Compound

    Active ingredient: estradiol;
    1 spray dose (90 µl) contains estradiol 1.53 mg (as estradiol hemihydrate 1.58 mg);
    Excipients: octisalate (2-ethylhexyl salicylate), ethanol 96%.

    Contraindications

    • Diagnosed or suspected breast cancer or a history of breast cancer.
    • An established or suspected estrogen-dependent malignant tumor or a history of this disease (including endometrial cancer);
    • Vaginal bleeding of unknown etiology;
    • Untreated endometrial hyperplasia;
    • Venous thromboembolic diseases in history or at present (deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism);
    • Diagnosed with thrombophilic disorders (eg, deficiency of protein C, protein S, or antithrombin);
    • Arterial thromboembolic diseases in history or at present (including angina pectoris, myocardial infarction);
    • Acute liver disease or a history of liver disease if liver function tests have not returned to normal;
    • Porfiria;
    • Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients. Method of application.

    Mode of application

    The bottle contains 56 doses of the preparation. 1 spray dose is 90 µl. The number of applied sprays is recommended to be noted in the table on the carton.
    The vial should be discarded after 56 doses of the preparation, even if the solution remains in it.
    Daily dose - 1 application of a fixed dose of spray on dry and healthy skin of the inner surface of the arm between the elbow and wrist. If this is not possible, the spray should be applied to the inner thigh. Do not apply Lenzetto® to the skin of the mammary glands or any area near the mammary glands.
    If the intended daily dose is two or three fixed doses, they should be applied to adjacent areas of the skin of the inner surface of the forearm (one after the other, without overlapping them) with an area of ​​​​about 20 cm 2. Wait about 2 minutes for the solution to dry completely.

    Overdose

    After taking high doses of preparations containing estrogens, no pronounced effects were recorded. Women with estrogen overdose may experience nausea and vomiting, breast tenderness, dizziness, abdominal pain, drowsiness/fatigue, and withdrawal bleeding. Treatment of overdose consists in the abolition of the preparation Lenzetto® and the appointment of appropriate symptomatic therapy.

    Side effects

    From the nervous system: headache.
    From the gastrointestinal tract: abdominal pain, nausea.
    From the skin and subcutaneous tissues: rash, itching.
    From the genital organs and mammary glands: pain in the mammary glands, swelling of the mammary glands, uterine bleeding / vaginal bleeding, including spotting, metrorrhagia.
    Data from laboratory and instrumental studies: weight gain, weight loss.

    Interaction

    No preparation interaction studies have been conducted with Lenzetto®.
