    Product description 

    Leverett Mini is a hormonal contraceptive for systemic use.

    Compound

    1 tablet contains 0.1 mg of levonorgestrel and 0.02 mg of ethinyl estradiol;
    other ingredients: anhydrous lactose, povidone K-30, magnesium stearate;
    film shell contains: polyvinyl alcohol, talc (E 553b), titanium dioxide (E 171), macrogol / PEG 3350, red aluminum dye (E 129), lecithin (E 322), iron oxide red (E 172), dye (E 132).

    Contraindications

    • a history of severe liver disease until liver function returns to normal;
    • the presence or indication of a history of liver tumors (benign or malignant);
    • diagnosed or suspected hormone-dependent malignant tumors (for example, genital or mammary glands);
    • vaginal bleeding of unknown etiology;
    • hypersensitivity to active substances (levonorgestrel, ethinyl estradiol) or to any excipient of the preparation;

    Mode of application

    Take orally in the order indicated on the package, at about the same time, one tablet per day, with a small amount of liquid.
    If a woman in the previous cycle did not use a contraceptive, the first tablet is taken on the 1st day from the onset of menstruation and is used 1 tablet per day for 21 days (preferably at the same time of day). Starting on days 2-7 is also possible, but during the first cycle it is recommended to additionally use a non-hormonal method of contraception (such as condoms or spermicides) during the first 7 days of taking the pills.
    After the end of the 21-day course of the preparation, a 7-day break is taken, during which menstrual bleeding usually occurs (usually on the 2nd or 3rd day). Taking the tablets from the next package must be started after a 7-day break, even if the bleeding has not expired.

    Application features

    In the presence of any of the diseases/risk factors listed below, the beneficial effects of COCs and the possible risks of their use in an individual woman should be evaluated and the relevant benefits and risks should be discussed with her before she decides to use such preparations. At the first manifestation, worsening or exacerbation of any of these diseases or risk factors, a woman should consult a doctor. The doctor must decide whether to stop taking the CPC.

    Drivers
    In women who used COCs, there was no effect on the ability to drive vehicles and operate mechanisms.

    Overdose

    Symptoms that may occur in overdose include nausea, vomiting, breast pain, dizziness, abdominal pain, drowsiness/weakness and vaginal bleeding in young girls.

    Side effects

    Infectious and parasitic diseases: vaginitis, including vaginal candidiasis.
    Benign, malignant and unspecified neoplasms (including cysts and polyps): hepatocellular carcinoma, benign liver tumors (focal nodular hyperplasia, liver adenoma).
    From the immune system: hypersensitivity, anaphylactic reactions with very rare cases of urticaria, angioedema, circulatory disorders and severe respiratory disorders.
    On the part of the psyche: mood changes, including depression, changes in libido.

    Storage conditions

    Does not require special storage conditions.
    The preparation should be stored out of the reach of children.
