Syrup "Linkus plus expectorant" is used in the complex therapy of inflammatory diseases of the upper and lower respiratory tract:

bronchitis, pneumonia, bronchial asthma and tuberculosis;
cold, smoker's cough;
inflammatory diseases of the upper respiratory tract (laryngopharyngitis, tracheitis, tracheobronchitis).

Structure

5 ml of syrup contains (active ingredients):

extract of yellow-fruited nightshade fruit (Solanum xanthocarpum) (1: 5) (extractant water) - 15 mg;
extract of adhatoda vascular leaves of dense (Adhatoda vasica) (1: 5) (extractant water) - 35 mg;
extract of licorice bare roots and thick rhizomes (Glycyrrhiza glabra) (1: 5) (extractant water) - 7.5 mg;
extract of basil of ordinary flowers and thick leaves (Ocimum basilicum) (1: 5) (extractant water) - 15 mg;
extract of cordia broadleaf fruits of dense (Cordia latifolia) (1: 5) (extractant water) - 5 mg;
thick pepper extract (Piper Longum) (1: 5) (extractant water) - 5 mg;
extract of marshmallow medicinal seeds thick (Althea officinalis) (1: 5) (extractant water) - 7.5 mg;
thick star anise extract (Illicium verum) (1: 5) (extractant water) - 25 mg.

Excipients: sucrose, anhydrous citric acid, methylparaben E 218, propylparaben E 216, eucalyptus oil, peppermint oil, chewing gum flavor, ammonium chloride, propylene glycol, purified water.

Contraindications

hypersensitivity to preparation components;
diabetes;
organic heart damage (myocarditis, pericarditis, myocardial infarction), arterial hypertension;
dysfunction of the liver and kidneys;
hypokalemia;
severe obesity.

Mode of application

Recommended dosage:

adults and children over 12 years old - two teaspoons (10 ml) of syrup 3-4 times a day;
children aged 7 to 11 years inclusive - one teaspoon (5 ml) of syrup 3-4 times a day;
children aged 2 to 6 years inclusive - ½-1 teaspoon (5 ml) of syrup 3-4 times a day.

The duration of treatment is from 3 to 7 days.

Application features

Pregnant

It is contraindicated to use during pregnancy and lactation, since licorice roots, which are part of the preparation, increase the level of estrogen, as a result of which the hormonal balance is disturbed. If necessary, taking the preparation, breastfeeding should be discontinued.

Children

Do not prescribe the preparation to children under 2 years of age.

Overdose

Overdose and prolonged use (more than 2 months) can lead and cause a violation of the water-electrolyte balance, as a result of which hypokalemic myopathy and myoglobinuria may develop. Increased side effects are possible.

Accidental overdose has not been reported.

Side effects

When using the preparation, weakness, increased blood pressure, hypokalemia, allergic reactions (including rash, itching, skin flushing, urticaria, edema formation) are possible; increased salivation, irritation of the gastric mucosa.

If any adverse reactions occur, you should stop using the preparation and consult a doctor.

Storage conditions

Store at a temperature not exceeding 25 ° C, in a dry place out of the reach of children.

Shelf life is 3 years.
