Lirra Gem is an antiallergy medicine.
Do not use the preparationfor more than 10 days without consulting a doctor.
The recommended dose for adults and children 6 years of age and older is one tablet (5 mg) a day. Lirra Gem should be swallowed whole with water. The preparation can be taken with or without food.
The active substance is levocetirizine dihydrochloride.
Each film-coated tablet contains 5 mg of levocetirizine dihydrochloride.
The other ingredients are: microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate, colloidal anhydrous silica, magnesium stearate, hypromellose (E 464), titanium dioxide (E 171) and macrogol 400.
Lirra Gem contains lactose monohydrate.
Lirra Gem is used to treat symptoms related to:
allergic rhinitis (including chronic allergic rhinitis),.
hives.
Do not use the preparation if:
if you are allergic to levocetirizine dihydrochloride, antihistamines or any of the other ingredients of this medicine
if you have severe renal impairment (severe renal failure with creatinine clearance less than 10 ml / min),
if you are intolerant to some sugars.
Some patients may feel sleepy, tired and exhausted while taking Lirra Gem. If you are about to drive a car, engage in other potentially hazardous activities or use machines, you should not do these activities until you know how you react to the medicine.
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
Store at room temperature up to 25 degrees C.
Tell your doctor about all the medications you are taking, now or recently, and about any medications you plan to use.
Consult a doctor before use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Use of the preparation in children and adolescents
Lirra Gem is not recommended for children under 6 years of age.
