LIX ear drops is a medical device whose action is based on the osmotic properties of glycerol. The main component of LIX drops is glycerol, which gently adheres to the skin at the application site and is responsible for its protective and hygroscopic properties. Lidocaine used as an auxiliary in lix drops as a surface anesthetic, additionally relieves ear pain.
LIX supports: ailments accompanied by pain caused by prolonged wearing of headphones or earwax that clogs the external ear canal, inflammatory conditions manifested by swelling, pain and itching of the external auditory canal, ailments accompanied by pain caused by regular exposure to water and moisture, e.g. swimming pool, ailments accompanied by pain caused by frequent use of detergents that destroy the natural membrane that protects the external ear canal, e.g. shampoos, soaps, gels).
Adults and children over 12 years of age: 2 drops in each ear up to three times a day. If there is no improvement or the patient feels worse after 3 days, a doctor should be consulted. Children from 6 months of age: 2 drops in each ear up to three times a day.
0.5% solution of lidocaine hydrochloride in glycerol (anhydrous).
LIX should not be used if:
- the packaging has been damaged,
- with perforation of the ear drum,
- previously known to be allergic to any of the ingredients of the product,
- the patient is after surgery or surgery,
- in children under 6 months of age,
- with prolonged pain or swelling caused by bacterial or fungal inflammation.
- do not use LIX in the ear with the hearing aid on.
Store at 15-25 degrees Celsius in the original packaging.
The product should be kept out of the reach of children.
