Product description
Madinette tablets are indicated for hormonal contraception.
Compound
Active ingredients: 1 coated tablet contains ethinylestradiol 0.03 mg and chlormadinone acetate 2 mg;
Excipients: lactose, corn starch, maltodextrin, magnesium stearate, shell mixture pink Opadry 03B34109, consisting of: hypromellose, macrogol 400, titanium dioxide (E 171), iron oxide red (E172), iron oxide yellow (E172).
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to active substances or to any other component of the preparation.
Loss of control over diabetes.
Uncontrolled arterial hypertension or a significant increase in blood pressure (the value constantly exceeds 140/90 mm Hg).
Presence or risk of venous thromboembolism (VTE).
The presence or risk of arterial thromboembolism (ATE).
Hepatitis, jaundice, abnormal liver function (until normalization of liver function tests).
Generalized pruritus, cholestasis, particularly during previous pregnancy or estrogen therapy.
Dubin-Johnson syndrome, Rotor syndrome, violation of bile secretion.
Liver tumors in history or at present.
Severe epigastric pain, liver enlargement, or symptoms of intra-abdominal bleeding.
Porphyria, new-onset or recurrent (all three forms, especially acquired porphyria).
Malignant hormone-dependent tumors in history or at present, such as tumors of the mammary glands or uterus.
Severe lipid metabolism disorders.
Pancreatitis in history or at present, which is accompanied by severe hypertriglyceridemia.
Migraine symptoms that occurred for the first time, as well as frequent and very severe headaches.
Acute sensory disturbances, such as visual or hearing impairments.
Movement disorders (particularly paresis).
Increased epileptic seizures.
Severe depression.
Otosclerosis that progressed during previous pregnancies.
Amenorrhea of unknown etiology.
hyperplasia of the endometrium.
Bleeding from the vagina of unknown etiology.
Simultaneous use with preparations containing ombitasvir / paritaprevir / ritonavir and dazabuvir.
Mode of application
The tablet should be squeezed out of the blister in accordance with the marking of the corresponding day of the week and swallowed whole, if necessary, drink a small amount of liquid. In the future, continue taking the tablets in the direction of the arrow on the package.

The preparation should not be used in children.
Overdose
There is no information on the serious toxic effect of the preparation in case of overdose. The following symptoms may be observed: nausea, vomiting, and - especially in young girls - slight bleeding from the vagina. There is no specific antidote; carry out symptomatic therapy. In rare cases, it may be necessary to monitor the indicators of water and electrolyte metabolism and liver function.
Side effects
Clinical studies of tablet forms with the same combination of active substances showed that the most common side effects (> 20%) were breakthrough bleeding, minor spotting, headache and chest discomfort. The likelihood of irregular bleeding decreases with continued use of tablets with the same composition of active ingredients.
Interaction
Note: In order to identify possible types of interactions, you should read the instructions for use of preparations taken simultaneously with this preparation.
Concomitant use with medicinal products containing ombitasvir/paritaprevir/ritonavir and dazabuvir is contraindicated.
Storage conditions
Keep out of the reach of children in the original packaging at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.
