MBE is a mineral and vitamin preparation containing magnesium ions, vitamin B6 and vitamin E, the use of which is recommended in the prevention and treatment of deficiencies, e.g. in the period of increased demand for these vitamins and magnesium, with increased physical exertion, with an elimination diet, in people residing in a contaminated environment and smoking. In addition, they are used as an auxiliary in diseases whose origin is related to the so-called oxidative stress and in reducing the effects of stress (due to antioxidant properties).
Magnesium and vitamin B6 mutually enhance their anti-stress effect, have a protective effect on the heart and circulatory system and have a positive effect on the state of the nervous system. Vitamin E enhances the anti-stress effect.
Magnesium is an element involved in the formation of nucleic acids, proteins, carbohydrates and fats that make up cells, tissues and organs. It affects the processes of obtaining energy, the intensity of glucose transformations, the course of the oxidation reaction and plays an important role in the regulation of bronchial contractility and neuromuscular excitability. It is a factor regulating the contractile activity of the heart, preventing its hypoxia and ischemia. It stimulates the body's defenses.
Vitamin B6 significantly increases the absorption and utilization of magnesium, and affects the activity of the hematopoietic and nervous systems. Participates in the processes of energy production, protein and amino acid transformations, and the synthesis of nucleic acids. It modifies the action of steroid hormones, the state of the immune system, the course of immune reactions and neoplastic diseases, and has an antiatherosclerotic effect.
Vitamin E is part of a complex system that protects cell structures and genetic material against the damaging effects of the so-called oxygen free radicals. It stabilizes the membranes of cells, especially those involved in the transport of oxygen or exposed to a high concentration of free oxygen radicals, increases the resistance of red blood cells to factors causing their breakdown. In combination with other antioxidants contained in the diet (vitamin C and carotene), it protects the body's tissues and has anti-atherosclerotic properties. It is used to prevent cholesterol disorders (hypercholesterolaemia) and myocardial infarction. Epidemiological studies show a relationship between the daily supply of vitamin E and the risk of ischemic heart disease, atherosclerosis and other diseases whose origin is related to the so-called oxidative stress.
MBE 250 mg + 7.29 mg + 200 mg is used in:
prevention and treatment of vitamin E, vitamin B6 and magnesium deficiencies.
Composition
1 capsule contains:
Supplementing vitamin E, vitamin B6 and magnesium deficiencies.
Adults: prophylactically: 1 capsule a day.
Oral use.
Therapeutic: according to the doctor's recommendations - depending on the degree of deficiency - usually 1 capsule twice a day.
Hypersensitivity to any ingredient of the product, especially soybean oil.
Hypermagnesaemia.
Severe renal failure.
Atrioventricular block.
Myasthenia gravis.
A severe drop in blood pressure.
Treatment with L-dopamine (L-DOPA) without peripheral decarboxylase inhibitors.
Keep out of the reach of children, at a temperature not exceeding 25 ° C.
Like all medicines, MBE can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
Side effects associated with the administration of preparations containing magnesium, vitamin B6, and vitamin E are rare, there have been reports of gastrointestinal disturbances which resolve after preparation discontinuation.
Hypersensitivity reactions to any component of the preparation may occur.
Medicines containing magnesium can have a laxative effect, so they should not be used in diarrhea.
Please tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including those obtained without a prescription.
Phosphates, high doses of calcium, excess fats and phytates reduce the absorption of magnesium from the gastrointestinal tract.
Orally administered magnesium compounds reduce the absorption of iron, fluoride compounds, and oral warfarin-derived anticoagulants.
This medicine may oppose (antagonize) vitamin K, especially in people treated with oral anticoagulants or oestrogens (sex hormones).
Concomitant use of iron preparations weakens the effect of vitamin E, therefore it is necessary to maintain a several-hour interval between taking MBE and iron-containing preparations.
The preparation contains refined soybean oil. If you are allergic to peanuts or soy, do not use this medicine.
