Product description
Nicorette Coolmint 2 mg is a medicine in the form of lozenges dedicated to people who want to quit smoking. The indication for the use of the preparation is the alleviation of withdrawal symptoms and the reduction of nicotine craving that occur when trying to quit smoking. Each Nicorette Coolmint gum contains a dose of 2 mg of nicotine, which helps to reduce the severity of unpleasant feelings called withdrawal symptoms, such as irritability, anxiety, restlessness, decreased concentration, or feelings of anger or depression. It can also prevent these symptoms completely.
Nicorette Pepparmint 2 mg lozenges is suitable for smokers with a low degree of nicotine addiction, i.e. who smoke their first cigarette more than 30 minutes after waking up or who smoke 20 or fewer cigarettes a day. Treatment is intended for adult smokers 18 years of age and older. Nicorette Coolmint lozenges do not contain sugar.
Indications
It is used to relieve withdrawal symptoms and reduce craving when trying to stop smoking or to reduce the number of cigarettes you smoke when trying to quit smoking.
For use in smokers with a low degree of nicotine addiction, i.e. who smoke their first cigarette during the day more than 30 minutes after waking up or who smoke 20 or fewer cigarettes per day.

Action
Nicorette Coolmint relieves nicotine craving and withdrawal symptoms occurring after quitting smoking and auxiliary substances.
Dosage
Children under 12 years of age: the preparation should not be given to children under 12 years of age.
Children and adolescents 12-17 years of age: Nicorette Pepparmint should only be used as prescribed by a doctor.
Adults (18 years and over):
Quit smoking immediately
It refers to the immediate cessation of smoking and the use of lozenges to reduce cigarette cravings.
Start treatment with 8 to 12 lozenges a day. As soon as you want to smoke a cigarette, put one lozenge in your mouth and wait for it to dissolve.
Use the lozenges in this way for up to 6 weeks, then gradually reduce the number of tablets you take per day.
When the patient only uses 1 or 2 lozenges a day, stop them completely. After stopping smoking completely, you may sometimes feel the urge to smoke a cigarette. In this case, you can use the lozenge again.
Gradually quitting smoking
It concerns the beginning of the gradual replacement of some cigarettes with a lozenge. After achieving this goal, smoking is completely stopped using lozenges. Finally, the use of lozenges is also stopped.
If you have a strong desire to smoke a cigarette, use the Nicorette Coolmint lozenge instead of a cigarette to help control your craving for nicotine. You should reduce the number of cigarettes smoked per day to the lowest possible number. If a patient is unable to reduce the number of cigarettes smoked daily after 6 weeks, consult an appropriate healthcare professional.
As soon as the patient feels able to do so, he should stop smoking completely. You should then follow the instructions above for stopping smoking immediately. The patient should do this as soon as possible. If the attempt to stop smoking completely has been unsuccessful within 6 months of starting treatment, you should consult an appropriate healthcare professional.
Do not exceed the stated dose. Follow the instructions strictly and do not use more than 15 lozenges in a day (24 hours).
If the patient feels the need to use the preparation for more than 9 months in total, consult a doctor.
