    Nicorette Freshfruit Chewing Gum 2 mg is a preparation indicated for the treatment of addiction to tobacco products by reducing craving and withdrawal symptoms occurring after stopping smoking.

    Properties:

    Nicorette Freshfruit Gum is a quick and convenient way to combat the symptoms of quitting smoking. A lower dose is appropriate for people who smoke less than 20 cigarettes a day. It works quickly by absorbing nicotine through the oral mucosa, relieving nicotine craving and withdrawal symptoms. When a patient stops smoking and nicotine is no longer supplied to the body on a regular basis, various symptoms of nicotine withdrawal begin to develop, including irritability, anxiety, mood disturbances, dizziness and headaches, and sleep disturbances. With Nicorette FreshFruit Gum chewing gum they can be prevented or weakened by providing the body with small doses of nicotine in a short time. The nicotine contained in Nicorette FreshFruit Gum is administered in its pure form. Unlike cigarettes, Nicorette FreshFruit Gum does not emit harmful tar or carbon dioxide, which are formed during the combustion process.

    Ingredients:

    The active substance is nicotine. One chewing gum contains 2 mg of nicotine, in the form of nicotine with cation exchanger. The other ingredients are: core - chewing gum base, xylitol (E 967), peppermint oil, anhydrous sodium carbonate, sodium bicarbonate, acesulfame potassium (E 950), levomenthol, magnesium oxide, quinoline yellow; coating - tuttifrutti QL 84441, hypromellose, sucralose (E 955), polysorbate 80, xylitol (E 967), gum arabic (E 414), titanium dioxide (E 171), carnauba wax (E 903), quinoline yellow.

    Use:

    Adults and the elderly - the initial dose should be determined individually, depending on the patient's nicotine addiction. Usually, 8-12 gums a day with an appropriate nicotine content are used. Low-addicted smokers (smoking ≤ 20 cigarettes / day) should start treatment with the 2 mg dose. Highly dependent smokers should start treatment with the 4 mg dose. Do not use more than 24 gums a day.
    Stopping smoking - Nicorette FreshFruit Gum helps people who decide to quit smoking to quit smoking. The gum should be used for at least 3 months. Then begin the gradual putting off of the gum. Treatment should be stopped when the dose is reduced to 1 - 2 gums per day.
