    Indications:

Nicorette Invisipatch Transdermal patches 15mg / 16h is a preparation indicated in the treatment of addiction to tobacco products in people who decide to quit smoking by alleviating nicotine craving and withdrawal symptoms after stopping smoking.

    Properties:

Once a day, Nicorette Invisipatch patches help you fight craving for up to 16 hours without disturbing your sleep. When using the patches during the day, with the dose of your choice, a controlled amount of nicotine is absorbed into the bloodstream through the skin, reducing the craving for nicotine. When a patient stops smoking and nicotine is no longer supplied to the body on a regular basis, various symptoms of nicotine withdrawal begin to develop, including irritability, anxiety, mood disturbances, dizziness and headaches, and sleep disturbances. With Nicorette Invisipatch, they can be prevented or weakened by providing the body with adequate doses of nicotine. The nicotine contained in the Nicorette Invisipatch patches is administered in its pure form. Unlike cigarettes, Nicorette Invisipatch patches do not emit harmful tar or carbon dioxide, which are formed during the combustion process. Nicotine is slowly released from the Nicorette Invisipatch and absorbed through the skin at a constant rate. The constant release of nicotine is possible thanks to its even distribution in the patch. Nicorette patches are intended to be used during the period of activity during the day, i.e. for about 16 hours, as they are intended to mimic the period of nicotine delivery during smoking. The maximum concentration is reached in the afternoon / evening when the risk of relapse is greatest.

    Ingredients:

The active substance is nicotine. 1 patch (transdermal patch) 15 mg / 16 h contains 23.62 mg of nicotine. The other ingredients are: carrier layer: medium chain triglycerides, basic butyl methacrylate copolymer, outer layer, protective layer: polyethylene terephthalate (PET) 19 μm, acrylic layer, adherent: Durotak 387-2051 adhesive acrylic solution, potassium hydroxide, sodium croscarmellose, Aluminum acetylacetonate, protective layer to be removed prior to application of the patch on the skin: polyethylene terephthalate (PET) 100 μm.

    Use:

Adults and the elderly: Put the patch on an undamaged skin surface in the morning, after waking up, and remove it before going to bed. Treatment with a patch (transdermal patch) mimics the fluctuation in nicotine levels in smokers during the day and without nicotine ingestion while sleeping. The use of the patch during the day does not cause the sleep disturbances seen with nicotine use during sleep. In highly addicted people, it is recommended to start treatment from Step 1, i.e. a 25 mg / 16 h patch applied once daily for eight weeks. Then start the gradual withdrawal of the patches (transdermal patch). Use the 15 mg / 16 h patch once a day for two weeks, and then use the 10 mg / 16 h patch once a day for the next two weeks. In low-addicted people, it is recommended to start treatment from Step 2, i.e. a 15 mg / 16 h patch used once daily for eight weeks, and then continue treatment with a 10 mg / 16 h patch (Step 3) used for another 4 weeks. . It is not recommended to use the patches for more than 6 months. However, some ex-smokers may require a longer period of treatment to prevent relapse.
