Indication
A mild form of neurasthenia, especially if it is accompanied by anxiety, fear, sadness, relentlessness, irritability, decreased concentration or increased fatigue; light form of insomnia, exhaustion; Neurotic memory disorders.
For supportive therapy for migraines, headache caused by nervous tension; vascular psychosomatic disorders with neurocirculatory asthenia, neurogenic tetany, pain in the face; with menopause syndrome.
Functional diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, dyspeptic syndrome without organic damage, "irritable intestinal" syndrome.
For auxiliary therapy for organic diseases of the gastrointestinal tract with a distinct neurotic component.
Psychosomatic dermatoses accompanied by itching (urticaria, atopic eczema).
Storage

Contraindication
Hypersensitivity to the active components or to any excipients of the preparation; Gravis myasthenia; epilepsy; depression and other conditions accompanied by inhibition of the central nervous system; bradycardia; Concomitant use of cyclosporine or tacrolimus; use for children under 12 years; The use of HIV-positive patients receiving protease inhibitors.
Features of application
The preparation should be used with caution in severe liver and kidney diseases, intoxication with substances that inhibit the action of the central nervous system.
During the use of the preparation, patients, especially with light skin, should avoid prolonged intense irradiation with ultraviolet rays (sunbathing, sun in the mountains, solarium).
Patients receiving treatment with indinavir or other antiretroviral preparations should be avoided by the use of St. John's wort, as this may lead to the development of antiretroviral preparation resistance and reducing treatment efficacy.
Considering the possibility of interaction, it is recommended to stop the use of St. John's wort, patients who use SSRS, Tryptan, theophylline, dicoxin, anticonvulsant preparations, warfarin and oral contraceptives.
Use caution to patients with severe organic diseases of the digestive tract.
In elderly patients, treatment should be started with a minimum dose.
When using the preparation, you should refrain from drinking alcoholic beverages.
There may be a specific sensitivity to the smell of valerian.
The reception of guyphenesis should be stopped 48 hours before the urine collection for the determination of vanillimidalic acid and 5-hydroxyindolocetic acid in the urine using nitrozonaphtol as a reagent (see section "Interaction with other medicines and other types of interactions").
If the patient has an intolerance to some sugars, you should consult your doctor before taking this medicine. The preparation should not be used in patients with hereditary galactose intolerance, lactase insufficiency of Lapp or glucose-galactose malabsorption.
The ability to influence the speed of reaction when driving vehicles or other mechanisms
The use of the preparation can lead to inhibition of the reaction, which is manifested individually in each patient (see section "Adverse reactions"). Therefore, you should refrain from potentially dangerous activities that require increased attention, such as driving or working with other mechanisms.
Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding
Due to insufficient safety data, it is contraindicated to use the preparation during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
The method of application and dose
Adults and children (over 12 years old)
Apply 1 tablet 3 times a day. If necessary, the daily dose can be increased to 2 tablets 3 times a day or reduce to ½ tablet in the morning and day and 1 tablet in the evening. The dose can be changed according to the patient's condition. The interval between the techniques of each individual doses should be from 4 to 6 hours.
The maximum daily dose is 6 tablets (Novo -Pasit extract dry 0.9 g/Guyphenezine 1.2 g).
The recommended duration of use is 4-5 weeks. With longer use, you should consult your doctor.
The tablets should be swallowed whole, washing with enough liquid (water, tea or fruit juice, except grapefruit).
Children
The preparation should be used in children aged 12 years.
Overdose
Overdose is initially manifested by the depression of the central nervous system, drowsiness. Later, these symptoms may be accompanied by nausea, mild muscular weakness, joint pain and a feeling of heaviness in the stomach.
The following symptoms can also be observed: a feeling of bitterness in the mouth, unpleasant sensations in the liver; headache, dizziness, lethargy, general weakness, shaking hands, pupil enlargement, breast compression, abdominal pain, decreased hearing and vision, tachycardia; decrease in blood pressure, bradycardia; Reduction of concentration of attention.
Overdose Guyphenezine reported urolithiasis.
Treatment is exceptionally symptomatic according to the general principles of treatment with overdose. There is no specific antidote.
Adverse reactions
From the immune system: hypersensitivity reactions, vasculitis.
From the nervous system: dizziness, drowsiness, depression of emotional reactions, depression.
From the gastrointestinal tract: feeling of discomfort in the digestive tract, nausea, vomiting, spasms, heartburn, diarrhea or constipation.
From the skin and subcutaneous tissue: exanthema, itching, rash, urticaria, photosensitization (UV radiation should be avoided during treatment), hyperemia, skin swelling.
From the musculoskeletal system and connective tissue: muscle weakness.
From the respiratory system: shortness of breath.
From the cardiovascular system: increase in blood pressure, tachycardia, bradycardia, ventricular tachycardia.
General disorders: increased fatigue, general weakness, decrease in mental and physical performance.
Storage conditions
Store at a temperature not exceeding 25 ° C in the original package and inaccessible to children.
