Active ingredients

Ocuwaite® Lutein Forte tablets contain: antioxidant vitamins (vitamins C and E), minerals (zinc and selenium), lutein and zeaxanthin.

Lutein and zeaxanthin are carotenoids - hot-yellow pigments found in fruits and vegetables, especially dark green leafy vegetables like spinach. The high levels of carotenoids in the "macula", the part of the eye that is responsible for central vision and the highest visual acuity, act as a blue light filter - like internal sunglasses - to protect the eyes from the harmful effects of the blue light spectrum.

Carotenoids (lutein and zeaxanthin), vitamins (C and E), minerals (zinc and selenium) are key elements of the eye defense system against oxidative damage.

The carotenoids, vitamins and minerals that are part of Ocuwaite® cannot be produced directly by the human body. They can be obtained from food or dietary supplements.

Peculiarities

Mode of application
