    Indications

    Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) to correct estrogen deficiency and symptoms of estrogen deficiency, especially with age-related or artificial menopause: vasomotor disorders (hot flashes, night sweats), trophic disorders of the genitourinary tract (atrophic vulvovaginitis, dyspareunia, urinary incontinence) and mental disorders (sleep disturbance , asthenia).
    Prevention of postmenopausal osteoporosis for women at high risk of fractures, women who cannot tolerate other preparations approved for the prevention of osteoporosis, or for whom these preparations  are contraindicated.
    Experience with this therapy in women over 65 years of age is limited.

    Contraindications

    Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.
    Breast cancer (diagnosed, suspected or in history).
    Diagnosed or suspected estrogen dependence malignant tumors (eg endometrial cancer).
    Vaginal bleeding of unknown etiology.
    Untreated endometrial hyperplasia.
    Idiopathic venous thromboembolic disease, present or in history (eg, deep vein thrombosis (DVT), pulmonary embolism).
    Increased blood clotting (e.g. deficiency of protein C, protein S, or antithrombin) has been detected.
    Acute thromboembolism of the arteries is present or has recently been transferred (for example, angina pectoris, myocardial infarction).
    Acute liver disease, present or in history (before normalization of laboratory parameters of liver function).
    Severe liver damage present or impaired liver function with a history of residual elevated levels of liver function tests.

    Composition

    Active ingredient: estradiol (estradiol)
    1 g of gel contains 0.6 mg of estradiol (as estradiol hemihydrate)

    Dosage and administration

    It is recommended to apply the dose to the skin itself, preferably to the area of ​​the forearm, upper arm and / or shoulder girdle, or to a large surface of intact skin. It is necessary to avoid application to the skin of the breast and mucous membranes of the vulvo-vaginal region.
    The gel should be applied to patients on their own, in the evening or in the morning, preferably after evening or morning toilet procedures at the same time every day. To do this, remove the cap from the vial and strongly press the dispenser pump, substituting the other hand to collect the gel. With 1 click on the pump dispenser, 1.25 g of gel is released, equal to half the daily dose. Dose released on first press, may not be accurate. It is recommended to discard it. The bottle is designed for 64 clicks. After 64 presses, the amount of gel released with one press may be less than necessary. Therefore, it is not recommended to use the bottle after 64 clicks on the pump dispenser.
    Apply the gel in a thin layer on the surface of the skin in the above-mentioned places. If after application the skin remains oily for more than 3 minutes, this means that the gel-coated skin surface was too small. You should try to apply the gel to a large surface of the body the next time you use it.
    Wash your hands thoroughly after applying the gel.
