    OMK1 is the first direct-acting ophthalmic neuroprotector.
    A medical device with a unique composition (a combination of citicoline and hyaluronic acid) and clinical capabilities.
    OMC1 drops protects retinal ganglion cells, has an antihypoxic effect, normalizes microcirculation, and stimulates the regeneration of retinal nerve fibers.
    Citicoline penetrates outside the cornea, passes through the conjunctiva, sclera and trabecular network, reaches the retina and optic nerve head by diffusion through the vitreous humor. Restores phospholipids of damaged membranes of nerve cells, promotes the regeneration of nerve fibers of the optic nerve in degenerative ophthalmic pathologies and after neurosurgical interventions, reduces the content of phospholipases, preventing apoptotic and necrotic cell death.
    Vitamin B 12 promotes the growth of the corneal epithelium, myelination of nerve fibers, protects cells from free radicals, restores and maintains visual functions. Sodium hyaluronate improves the stability of the tear film, lengthens the contact time of citicoline with eye tissues, enhancing bioavailability.

    Active ingredients

    Citicoline is a natural, physiological and main precursor in the synthesis of neuronal membrane phospholipids. Provides structural restoration of the integrity of damaged membranes of nerve cells, reduces the content of phospholipases, preventing apoptotic and necrotic cell death. It is a growth factor for nerve fibers of the optic nerve in degenerative ophthalmic pathologies. Due to the temporary and reverse relaxation of the corneal epithelial barrier and a low concentration (0.01%) of benzalkonium chloride, a penetration enhancer, citicoline enters the anterior chamber of the eye and, through diffusion, through the vitreous body and uveo-scleral space reaches the retina and the optic nerve head.
    Hyaluronic acid is one of the main components of the extracellular matrix, which is found in many biological fluids (saliva, synovial fluid, vitreous body, etc.). Plays an important role in tissue hydrodynamics, cell proliferation and migration, has pro-angiogenic properties, mucoadhesive and viscoelastic action, improves the stability of the tear film and keeps the ocular surface lubricated, moisturized and protected, creates a favorable microenvironment for re-epithelialization processes, restoration of the ocular surface in case of corneal injuries and conjunctiva. contributes to the retention of the active components of the drug on the surface of the eye (tear film) and prolongs the contact of the citicoline molecule with the structures of the eye, in addition, acts as a conductor and promotes the migration of citicoline into the anterior chamber of the eye and the vitreous body.

    Contraindications

    Mode of application

    1-2 drops 2-3 times / day.
    The recommended course of treatment is 2 months (three times a year) or for 4 months (twice a year), depending on the degree (stage) of the disease.
