ORSALIT nutris is a dietary food for special medical purposes for the dietary management in states of dehydration, especially during diarrhea or vomiting, and in situations where there is a risk of dehydration. It replenishes fluids and minerals in the event of water and electrolyte disturbances. ORSALIT nutris is an oral rehydration fluid with reduced osmolarity and reduced sodium content. It is enriched with lactalbumin, a protein found in milk. Lactalbumin provides essential amino acids, i.e. amino acids that are not produced by the human body and must be administered with food.
For the dietary management of dehydration, especially during diarrhea or vomiting and in situations where there is a risk of dehydration. Intended for children from 6 months of age.
Usually, it is recommended to administer 50-100 ml of oral rehydration fluid per kg of body weight in the first 4 hours, and an additional 5-10 ml per kg of body weight after each diarrhea or vomiting. At a later stage of rehydration, it is recommended to administer 5-10 ml of oral rehydration fluid per kg body weight after each diarrheal stool or vomiting.
Shake the sachet before opening. Dissolve the content of one sachet in 200 ml of warm, boiled water. The measuring cup attached to the package is used to measure the appropriate amount of water. The liquid should not be sweetened. Can be administered through a tube. Chill before serving. In the event of vomiting, the liquid should be administered frequently in small portions (a spoon).
Glucose monohydrate, sodium citrate, lactalbumin - protein derived from cow's milk, sodium chloride, potassium chloride, flavors.

- the energy value of 42kJ / 10kcal;
- carbohydrates 2.30 g, including: sugars (glucose) 1.62 g; protein 0.16 g; salt 0.18 g; citrates 0.19 g; chlorides 0.18 g; sodium 0.14 g; potassium 0.08 g; lactalbumin 0.20 g.
Solution osmolarity: 230 mOsm / l.
Do not use in people with intestinal obstruction, haemodynamic shock, allergy to cow's milk proteins. The product should not be used in people who are not at risk of dehydration.
