    Product description

    Panangin Forte tablets belong to the group of minerals. Indicated for use with:
    • additional therapy for chronic heart diseases (with heart failure, patients in the postinfarction period) and cardiac arrhythmias (especially with ventricular arrhythmias), on the recommendation of a doctor;
    • additional therapy in the treatment of digitalis preparations, on the recommendation of a doctor;
    • as a dietary supplement to increase the levels of magnesium and potassium in the body.

    Composition

    1 coated tablet contains:
    • 280 mg magnesium asparaginate (as 350 mg magnesium aspartate tetrahydrate);
    • 316 mg potassium asparaginate (as 332.6 mg potassium asparaginate hemihydrate)
    • excipients: silicon dioxide colloidal povidone K-30; potato starch; magnesium stearate talc corn starch;
    • film casing: macrogol 6000; titanium dioxide (E 171) base copolymer of butylated methacrylate (Eudragit E); talc.

    Contraindications

    • hypersensitivity to active substances or to any of the excipients of the preparation;
    • acute or chronic renal failure;
    • Addison's disease;
    • blockade of the III degree;
    • cardiogenic shock (blood pressure <90 mm Hg).

    Mode of application

    For internal use.
    The recommended daily dose is 1 tablet 3 times a day.
    The maximum daily dose is 1 tablet 3 times a day.
    The course of treatment is determined by the doctor.
    Gastric juice can reduce the effectiveness of the preparation, so it is recommended to take Panangin Forte after meals.

    Application features

    Pregnant
    Application during pregnancy or lactation.
    There is still no data on any harmful effects when using Panangin Forte in this category of patients.
    Children
    The safety and efficacy of the use of Panangin Forte, film-coated tablets, have not been established for children and adolescents.
    The use of the preparation is not recommended for this group of patients.
    Drivers
    Panangin Forte does not affect the ability to drive vehicles and other mechanisms.

    Overdose

    Large doses of Panangin Forte can cause increased stool frequency due to the magnesium content.
    Symptoms of hyperkalemia: general weakness, paresthesia, bradycardia, paralysis. An extremely high concentration of potassium in plasma can lead to death from cardiac depression, arrhythmias, or cardiac arrest.
    Symptoms of hypermagnesemia: nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, hypotension, bradycardia, weakness, slurred speech, double vision. At very high plasma concentrations of magnesium, hyporeflexia, muscle paralysis, respiratory arrest and cardiac arrest can develop.
    Treatment.
    In case of an overdose, the preparation should be discontinued and, if necessary, symptomatic treatment should be carried out (calcium chloride intravenously, dialysis if necessary).

    Side effects

    From the gastrointestinal tract: when used in high doses, stool frequency may increase.
    According to some reports, nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain may occur.

    Storage conditions

    Store at a temperature not exceeding 30 ° C in its original packaging.
    Keep out of the reach of children.
    Shelf life is 2 years.
