The preparation is intended for use in people with symptoms of gastric contents regressing into the esophagus, experiencing a burning sensation in the esophagus (heartburn).
It consists in inhibiting the work of the proton pump located in the parietal cells of the gastric mucosa, responsible for the production of stomach acid. By reducing the secretion of gastric acid, omeprazole eliminates the direct cause of heartburn.
1 capsule contains: 20 mg of omeprazole and auxiliary substances.
Usually used: 1 capsule or 2 capsules of 10 mg once a day for 14 days. If symptoms persist after this time, contact your doctor.
