Description

Indications

PRESTILOL® 5 mg/10 mg and PRESTILOL® 10 mg/10 mg are indicated for the treatment of hypertension and/or stable coronary artery disease (with a history of myocardial infarction and/or revascularization) in adult patients requiring therapy with bisoprolol and perindopril in doses available in a fixed combination.

PRESTILOL® 5 mg/5 mg and PRESTILOL® 10 mg/5 mg are indicated for the treatment of hypertension and/or stable ischemic heart disease (with a history of myocardial infarction and/or revascularization) and/or stable chronic heart failure with reduced systolic function of the left ventricle in adult patients who require therapy with bisoprolol and perindopril at a dose available in a fixed combination.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the active substances or to any of the excipients or to any other ACE inhibitors;
acute heart failure or decompensated heart failure requiring intravenous inotropic therapy
cardiogenic shock
block II or III degree (without artificial pacemaker)
sick sinus syndrome;
sinoatrial blockade
symptomatic bradycardia
symptomatic arterial hypotension
severe form of bronchial asthma or severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease;
severe peripheral arterial disease obliterans or severe Raynaud's syndrome
untreated pheochromocytoma (see section "Peculiarities of use");
metabolic acidosis,
angioedema in history associated with previous therapy with ACE inhibitors (see section "Peculiarities of use");
hereditary or idiopathic angioedema
pregnancy or planning pregnancy (see section "Use during pregnancy or lactation");
simultaneous use with preparations containing aliskiren in patients with diabetes mellitus or renal insufficiency (GFR <60 ml / min / 1.73 m2) (see sections "Peculiarities of use", "Interaction with other preparations and other types of interactions");
simultaneous use with sacubitril / valsartan (see sections "Peculiarities of use" and "Interaction with other preparations and other types of interactions");
extracorporeal therapies that lead to blood contact with negatively charged surfaces (see section "Interaction with other medicinal products and other forms of interaction");
significant bilateral stenosis of the renal arteries or stenosis of the artery of a single kidney (see section "Peculiarities of use").

Compound

1 tablet contains 5 mg of bisoprolol fumarate (corresponding to 4.24 mg of bisoprolol) and 10 mg of perindopril arginine (corresponding to 6.790 mg of perindopril)

Excipients: microcrystalline cellulose (type 102), calcium carbonate, corn starch (corn), starch sodium (type A), colloidal silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate (E 470b), croscarmellose sodium;

film shell: glycerin (E 422), hypromellose (E 464), macrogol 6000, magnesium stearate (E 470b), titanium dioxide (E 171), iron oxide yellow (E172), iron oxide red (E 172).

Method of application and dose.

Dosage

The usual dosage is one tablet once a day, in the morning before meals. Patients should be stabilized with equivalent doses of bisoprolol and perindopril for at least 4 weeks. A fixed combination is not available for initial therapy.

For patients stabilized with bisoprolol 2.5 mg and perindopril 2.5 mg, half a 5 mg/5 mg tablet once daily is recommended.

For patients stabilized with 2.5 mg bisoprolol 5 mg perindopril, half a tablet 5 mg/10 mg once a day is recommended.

If it is necessary to change the dosage, an individual selection of doses of each of the components of the preparation should be carried out.

Tablets PRESTILOL® 5 mg / 5 mg and PRESTILOL® 5 mg / 10 mg have a notch for dividing into two parts.

Children.

The safety and efficacy of PRESTILOL® in children (under 18 years of age) has not been established. No data available. Therefore, the use of the preparation in children (under the age of 18 years) is contraindicated.
