Product description

The preparation "Respero Myrtol forte" is used as part of the complex therapy of acute and chronic bronchitis, with inflammation of the paranasal sinuses (sinusitis).

Compound

Active ingredient: 1 capsule contains 300 mg distillate of a mixture of rectified essential oils of eucalyptus, sweet orange, myrtle and lemon.

Excipients: refined rapeseed oil.

The composition of the capsule shell: gelatin; glycerin 85%; sorbitol solution that does not crystallize (E 420); hydrochloric acid 13% (obtained from hydrochloric acid 25% and purified water); hypromellose acetate succinate; triethyl citrate; sodium lauryl sulfate; talc; dextrin; ammonium glycyrrhizate.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation inflammatory diseases of the stomach, intestines and biliary tract; severe liver dysfunction.

Dosage and administration

Capsules of the preparation "Respero Myrtol forte" are recommended to be taken 30 minutes before meals with plenty of cool water or other drinks.

Adults and children over 10 years of age with a clinical picture of acute inflammation take 1 capsule 3-4 times a day. In order to create conditions for improving sleep, the last dose should be taken at bedtime.

In a chronic process, take 1 capsule 2 times a day. The same dosage is recommended for long-term therapy.

To facilitate morning sputum discharge in chronic bronchitis, it is recommended to take an additional 1 capsule of Respero Myrtol forte in the evening, before bedtime.

Children aged 6 to 10 years (this preparation is prescribed to children at a time when they can swallow the capsule on their own) appoint 1 capsule 2 times a day.

The preparation should be used during the period of symptoms of the disease and within 2-4 days after their disappearance.

Although there is no information about the harmful effects of the preparation "Respero Mirtol forte" on the fetus during pregnancy (especially in the first trimester) and breastfeeding, take the preparation only under medical supervision.

Children

This dosage form can be prescribed to children over the age of 6 years.

There is no data on the effect of the preparation on the ability to drive vehicles or other mechanisms.

Overdose

Cases of preparation overdose were not observed.

Adverse reactions

Rarely (1 to 10 cases per 1000), pain and discomfort in the gastrointestinal tract may occur. Very rarely (from 1 to 10 cases per 10,000), nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea may occur. There are also isolated cases of allergic reactions, including skin rash, itching, redness, swelling of the face, shortness of breath, circulatory disorders. In 1 case per 10,000, an exacerbation of cholelithiasis and urolithiasis may occur.

Keep out of the reach of children at a temperature not exceeding 25°C.
