    Product description

Sanorin-Allergo metered dose nasal spray is an anti-allergic agent.

Use for the symptomatic treatment of seasonal allergic rhinitis (hay fever) and non-seasonal (year-round) allergic rhinitis.

    Compound

    azelastine hydrochloride 1 mg;

excipients: hypromellose, sodium edetate, citric acid, sodium phosphate dodecahydrate, sodium chloride, purified water.

    Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the active substance, ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid or to any other component of the preparation.

    Mode of application

    For nasal use.

Unless otherwise prescribed, spray 1 dose into each nostril 2 times a day in the morning and in the evening (corresponds to a daily dose of 0.56 mg azelastine hydrochloride).

Keep your head straight when applying the spray.

The duration of therapy depends on the type of severity, the development of symptoms and is determined individually.

The preparation can be used for long-term therapy.

    Application features

    Pregnant

There are no clinical data on the use of azelastine hydrochloride in women during pregnancy and lactation. In animal studies, high oral doses of azelastine have resulted in fetal death, developmental delay, and skeletal malformations.

Therefore, it is not recommended to use the preparation during pregnancy and lactation.

    Children

For use in children over 6 years of age.

    Drivers

When using the preparation in rare cases, there may be increased fatigue, exhaustion, dizziness or weakness, which can also be caused by the disease itself. In this case, the reaction rate when driving or working with other mechanisms may be reduced. In addition, the above symptoms can increase with the simultaneous intake of alcohol and other preparations, in turn, negatively affect the reaction rate.

    Overdose

With intranasal administration, overdose reactions are not expected. In case of overdose due to accidental oral administration, based on the results of animal experiments, disturbances from the central nervous system (drowsiness, dizziness, coma, tachycardia, arterial hypotension) are expected. Treatment of such disorders should be symptomatic. There is no known antidote.
