    Product description

    Sedafiton oral drops can be prescribed for the following indications:
    • Mild forms of neurotic disorders, accompanied by irritability, anxiety, fear, depression, increased fatigue, absent-mindedness, increased nervous irritability; mild arousal sleep disorders; headache attacks caused by nervous tension; mild forms of dysmenorrhea. Apply in the complex therapy of climacteric syndrome.
    • Neurocirculatory dystonia with tachycardia, cardialgia and arterial hypertension; arterial hypertension stage I. Use as part of complex therapy and for the prevention of chronic ischemic heart disease, atherosclerosis, arterial hypertension, the initial stages of chronic heart failure.
    • Constant mental stress.

    Compound

    active ingredients:
    1 ml of drops contains tinctures of chopped hawthorn fruits (Crataegi fructus) (1:10) (extractant - ethanol 70%) 0.275 ml, tincture of valerian roots (Valerianae radix) (1: 5) (extractant - ethanol 70%) 0.295 ml, tinctures motherwort herbs (Leonuri herba) (1: 5) (extractant - ethanol 70%) 0.43 ml.

    Contraindications

    Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation, severe arterial hypotension, severe bradycardia, depression and other diseases accompanied by inhibition of the activity of the central nervous system; the period of pregnancy and lactation; gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer; liver cirrhosis, alcoholism in history, simultaneous use of preparations containing alcohol.

    Mode of application

    The preparation is administered orally. Assign to adults 20-50 drops 3 times a day before meals.
    Children over 12 years old - at the rate of 1 drop per 1 year of life, diluted with a small amount of water, 3 times a day, 10-20 minutes before meals.

    Overdose

    Symptoms: headache, dizziness, increased fatigue, lethargy, depression, weakness, decreased performance and concentration, drowsiness, abdominal pain, nausea, hand tremor, dilated pupils, chest tightness, bradycardia, decreased blood pressure, decreased visual acuity and hearing, increased heart rate, mental agitation.

    Adverse Reactions

    Allergic reactions: in patients with individual hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation, allergic reactions may develop, including symptoms such as rash, itching, hyperemia and swelling of the skin, urticaria.
    From the nervous system: dizziness, drowsiness, general weakness, depression, depression of emotional reactions.
    From the side of the cardiovascular system: tachycardia or bradycardia, a decrease in blood pressure, a significant slowdown in the heart rate are possible.
    From the gastrointestinal tract: nausea, vomiting, spastic abdominal pain, dyspepsia.
    General disorders: feeling tired, decreased mental and physical performance, edema.

    Interaction

    The preparation enhances the activity of cardiac glycosides (digoxin), as well as the effect of antispasmodics, tranquilizers, antipsychotics, hypnotics and sedatives. The preparation should not be used in conjunction with third-generation antiarrhythmic preparations , as well as other preparations that can decrease or increase the heart rate.
    The preparation can enhance the pharmacological effects of analgesic, cardiac and antihypertensive preparations, and also enhances the effect of alcohol.
    Reception with alkaloid salts is not recommended due to the possibility of the formation of negative complexes. Do not use the preparation in conjunction with cisapride.
