Sinupret® syrup is used for acute and chronic inflammatory diseases of the paranasal sinuses.

100 g of syrup contains (active ingredients) 10 g of extract (1:11) from gentian root (Radix Gentianae), primrose flowers with a cup (Flores Primulae cum Calisibus), verbena herb (Herba Verbenae), sorrel herb (Herba bloom) elderberry (Flоres Sambuci) (1: 3: 3: 3: 3), (extractant ethanol 59% (v / v).

Excipients: purified water, cherry aroma, liquid maltitol.

The ethanol content is 8% (v / v).

Hypersensitivity to any of the active or other components of the preparation, to other types of primrose, as well as an ulcer.

Dose the preparation using a measuring cap in doses indicated in accordance with age, 3 times a day:

children aged 2 to 5 years - 2.1 ml (daily dose - 6.3 ml);

children aged 6 to 11 years - 3.5 ml (daily dose - 10.5 ml);

adults and children over 12 years old - 7 ml (daily dose - 21 ml).

The syrup can be used either undiluted or with a small amount of liquid (not containing alcohol). Shake the syrup before use. The preparation can be taken with meals, drinks, or between meals. Patients who complain of functional dyspepsia (the so-called "sensitive stomach") are advised to take the syrup after meals. For children under 6 years of age, a single dose of syrup should be diluted in one tablespoon of water.

During storage, turbidity or precipitation may occur, which does not affect the effectiveness of the preparation.

Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the recommended course of treatment is 7-14 days.

Pregnant

The preparation during pregnancy and lactation should be taken only after a clear diagnosis by a doctor and an assessment of the benefit to the mother / risk to the fetus (child) ratio.

Due to the ethanol content, the syrup should be taken when Sinupret® tablets cannot be taken.

Children

Due to lack of research, do not use in children under 2 years of age.

Drivers

In recommended doses, the preparation does not affect the ability to drive vehicles or other mechanisms, but it should be borne in mind that the preparation contains ethanol.

Overdose cases are currently unknown. It is possible that the occurrence of these adverse reactions may increase, in which case you should consult a doctor.

Treatment: if symptoms of poisoning or overdose occur, symptomatic therapy is necessary.

Cases of gastrointestinal disorders (including stomach pain, nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, pain and discomfort) are uncommon. Hypersensitivity reactions are also possible, including rash, skin redness, itching, hives, Quincke's edema, shortness of breath, facial swelling.

Store in its original packaging at a temperature not exceeding 30 ° C, out of the reach of children.

Shelf life is 4 years.

After opening the bottle, the preparation is suitable for use within 6 months.
