Solphadermol is intended for external use in cases of molluscum contagiosum - to remove skin eruptions caused by the virus. Solphadermol causes damage to infected cells and induces a local protective reaction of the skin in the area of eruptions. The aim of the treatment is to induce painless inflammation limited to the area of the exanthema. When the inflammation subsides, the mollusk's skin eruptions also heal.
Removal of skin eruptions caused by molluscum contagiosum.
2 times a day, use a spatula to apply a small amount of the preparation exactly to the nodules of the contagious mollusk, and then let it dry. The preparation should be discontinued when inflammation appears, indicating the healing process. Inflammation is manifested by redness that lasts at least 12 hours.
1 ml of the preparation contains: potassium hydroxide 50 mg and purified water.
Do not use in infants and young children under 2 years of age.
The preparation should be stored out of the reach and sight of children.
Keep the bottle tightly closed and in an upright position.
The shelf life is 4 weeks from the first opening.
Contact with the eyes should be avoided.
