Strepsils lozenges are intended for use in inflammation of the throat and mouth.

The drug is recommended especially in cases where a sore throat is accompanied by a cold. Vitamin C contained in it supplements its deficiencies in the body and supports the treatment of infections. One tablet contains 100 mg of vitamin C, which, with 8 lozenges a day (the daily dose of Strepsils), means that you do not need to take it in a separate tablet (the recommended daily dose of vitamin C during an infection is 500-1000 mg). Strepsils lozenges with Vitamin C 100 mg contain two antibacterial ingredients that effectively fight bacteria that cause inflammation and sore throat.

Adults and children over 6 years of age: slowly suck one tablet every 2-3 hours. Do not take more than 8 lozenges a day.

Do not use the drug if the patient is allergic to any of the ingredients of the drug, in children under 6 years of age.

Active substances: 1.2 mg of 2,4-dichlorobenzyl alcohol and 0.6 amylmetacresol and excipients: vitamin C, Orange Essence, Tartaric acid, Levomenthol, Propylene Glycol, Orange Yellow, Cochineal Red, Sucrose and Glucose.
