    Indications:

    Sudafed XyloSpray DEX for children 0.5 mg +50 mg is a preparation indicated for use:
    • to reduce swelling of the mucosa in rhinitis and to treat damage to the nasal mucosa,
    • to relieve the symptoms of non-allergic mucositis (vasomotor rhinitis),
    • in the treatment of obstruction of the nasal passages after nasal surgery.
    Sudafed Xylospray DEX for children is intended for use in children aged 2 to 6 years.

    Properties:

    Sudafed XyloSpray DEX for children with dexpanthenol nasal spray is a rhinitis medicine for children aged 2 to 6 years. Sudafed Xylospray DEX for children nasal spray contains xylometazoline hydrochloride and dexpanthenol.
    Xylometazoline hydrochloride quickly constricts the blood vessels of the nasal mucosa and reduces swelling.
    Dexpanthenol is a derivative of the vitamin, pantothenic acid, which accelerates wound healing and protects the nasal mucosa.

    Ingredients:

    The active substances are xylometazoline hydrochloride and dexpanthenol. Each ml of the solution contains 0.5 mg of xylometazoline hydrochloride and 50 mg of dexpanthenol. One dose of nasal spray (0.1 ml of solution) contains 0.05 mg of xylometazoline hydrochloride and 5.0 mg of dexpanthenol. The other ingredients are: potassium dihydrogen phosphate, disodium phosphate dodecahydrate, water for injections.

    Use:

    The recommended dose of Sudafed Xylospray DEX for children is one spray in each nostril up to three times a day, as needed, unless your doctor tells you otherwise. Do not use for more than 7 days. Re-use is possible only after a break of several days. If after 3 days there is no improvement or the child feels worse, you should contact your doctor.
