    Indications:

Sudafed Xylospray DEX is a medicine indicated for use in:

    • to reduce swelling of the mucosa in rhinitis and to treat damage to the nasal mucosa,
    • to relieve the symptoms of non-allergic mucositis (vasomotor rhinitis),
    • in the treatment of obstruction of the nasal passages after nasal surgery.

Sudafed Xylospray DEX is intended for adults and children over 6 years of age.

    Properties:

Sudafed XyloSpray DEX with dexpanthenol nasal spray is a runny nose medication that unblocks the nose, speeds up healing and protects. Sudafed Xylospray DEX nasal spray contains xylometazoline hydrochloride and dexpanthenol.

Xylometazoline hydrochloride quickly constricts the blood vessels of the nasal mucosa and reduces swelling.

Dexpanthenol is a derivative of the vitamin, pantothenic acid, which accelerates wound healing and protects the nasal mucosa.

    Ingredients:

The active substances are xylometazoline hydrochloride and dexpanthenol. Each ml of the solution contains 1 mg of xylometazoline hydrochloride and 50 mg of dexpanthenol. One dose of nasal spray (0.1 ml of solution) contains 0.1 mg of xylometazoline hydrochloride and 5.0 mg of dexpanthenol. The other ingredients are: potassium dihydrogen phosphate, disodium phosphate dodecahydrate, water for injections.

    Use:

The recommended dose of Sudafed Xylospray DEX for adults is one spray in each nostril up to three times a day, if needed, unless otherwise directed by your doctor. Do not use for more than 7 days. If after 7 days there is no improvement or the patient feels worse, see a doctor. Re-use is possible only after a break of several days. If, after 3 days, your baby does not get better or feels worse, you should contact your doctor.
