The preparation is indicated for the short-term treatment of the symptoms of colds, chills and flu. These symptoms include mild to moderate pain, fever, nasal congestion (blocked nose) and a wet cough. Theraflu Total Grip is indicated for use in adults, elderly and adolescents 16 years of age and older only.

1 sachet contains the active substances: 1000 mg paracetamol, 12.2 mg phenylephrine hydrochloride (corresponding to 5 mg phenylephrine base) and 200 mg guaifenesin. The other ingredients are: sucrose, sodium citrate, anhydrous citric acid, tartaric acid, lemon flavor 87A069, lemon flavor 875060 (contains butylhydroxyanisole), menthol flavor 876026, potassium acesulfame (E950), lemon flavor 501.476 / AP05.04, aspartame (E951) , lemon flavor 875928, quinoline yellow (E104)

Analgesic, antipyretic, antihistamine, reduces congestion and swelling of the nasal mucosa.

In adults, the elderly and adolescents 16 years of age and older with a body weight of 50 kg or more: take 1 sachet every 4 to 6 hours, as needed. Do not take more than 3 sachets a day. Do not use the preparation for more than 3 days. Contact your doctor if symptoms persist for more than 3 days or if their symptoms worsen, or if your cough is accompanied by high fever, skin rash or persistent headache.

Hypersensitivity to the active substances or to any of the excipients. Heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes mellitus, hyperthyroidism, angle-closure glaucoma, pheochromocytoma, patients using monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) currently or in the past two weeks, tricyclic antidepressants, beta-adrenergic blockers. Patients taking other sympathomimetic preparations such as decongestants, appetite suppressants and amphetamine-like psychostimulants.
