    TopVue Air Multifocal contact lenses

    TopVue Air Multifocal progressive contact lenses have been designed for people suffering from presbyopia, the so-called presbyopia. They are made of an innovative third-generation hydrogel silicone. TopVue Air Multifocal is characterized by high oxygen permeability and at the same time high water content. The design of the TopVue Air Multifocal lenses is based on many optical zones that guarantee improved vision at all distances, and wearing the lenses is comfortable.

    A convenient and effective solution to presbyopia
    Presbyopia is called presbyopia, a condition classified as vision defects that occur with age. As a result of the natural aging process, most people aged around 40 experience deterioration of vision due to the fact that the lens of the eye loses its elasticity, so the eye is not able to see clearly at different distances. TopVue Air Multifocal progressive lenses are a comfortable and effective solution to this condition.

    TopVue Air Multifocal contact lenses consist of many optical zones with different parameters. The concept of differentiating the individual optical zones of the lens uses the natural properties of the eye - the pupil narrows when we look at objects that are close and dilates when we look at objects that are far away. The zone responsible for correcting the sharpness of the image in close proximity is located in the central part of the lens, and closer to the outer edges of the lens there is a zone responsible for correcting the image of objects far away.

    How to choose the right addition value?

    TopVue Air Multifocal contact lenses have four addition values. If your diagnosed defect falls between two of these four values, select the lower value. In the case of one dominant eye, the dominant eye should have a higher value than the non-dominant eye.

    Innovative technology used in the production of silicone-hydrogel materials makes TopVue Air Multifocal lenses characterized by high oxygen permeability. Oxygen is transported from the external environment to the cornea of the eye through microscopic tubules. TopVue Air Multifocal lenses have an oxygen transmittance of 100 Dk/t.

    Another important feature of all contact lenses is the optimal water content, which ensures their proper hydration. TopVue Air Multifocal contain 45% water, thanks to which they maintain a high degree of hydration throughout the day. Water also creates a protective barrier against deposits on the surface of the lens and ensures eye hygiene and eliminates the risk of infection or irritation.
