    Product description

    Trimspa 200 is a preparation used for functional disorders of the gastrointestinal tract - irritable bowel syndrome; functional disorders of the digestive tract, accompanied by abdominal pain, spasms, a feeling of fullness, flatulence, constipation or diarrhea.

    Composition

    1 tablet contains trimebutin maleate 200 mg;
    auxiliary substances: microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate, tartaric acid, corn starch, croscarmellose sodium, colloidal anhydrous silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, diethyl phthalate, titanium dioxide (E 171), talc.

    Contraindication

    Hypersensitivity to trimebutin or other components of the preparation.

    Application method

    Tablets should be taken internally, washed down with a glass of boiled water.
    For adults, a single dose is 200 mg (1 tablet); daily dose – 600 mg (3 tablets).
    At the beginning of the treatment of irritable bowel syndrome, the maximum daily dose for adults, if necessary, can be 600 mg (3 tablets), divided into 3 doses (that is, 1 tablet 3 times a day).

    Features of application

    The preparation Trimspa 200 can cause drowsiness, so the preparation should be used with caution in patients with depression of the central nervous system.
    Trimspa 200 can increase the sedative effect of preparations that suppress the central nervous system and/or ethanol.
    The preparation contains lactose, so patients with rare hereditary forms of galactose intolerance, lactase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption syndrome should not use the preparation.
    If you have an intolerance to some sugars, consult your doctor before taking this medicine.

    Since there are no data on the use of the preparation during pregnancy or breastfeeding, it is contraindicated to prescribe the preparation to women during this period. Breastfeeding should be stopped during treatment with the preparation.
    Children
    The experience of using the preparation in children is limited, so it should not be prescribed to this category of patients.
    Drivers
    In case of dizziness or drowsiness, refrain from driving or working with other mechanisms.

    Overdose

    There are no data on cases of trimebutin overdose. It is possible to increase the manifestations of adverse reactions.

    Side effects

    From the digestive tract: dry mouth, taste disturbances, diarrhea, dyspepsia, stomach pain, nausea, constipation.
    From the side of the nervous system: drowsiness, fatigue, dizziness, restlessness, headache, feeling of cold/heat, impaired hearing.
    From the side of the immune system: allergic reactions, including skin rashes.
    Reproductive disorders: violation of the menstrual cycle, painful breast enlargement.
    From the kidneys and urinary tract: urinary retention.

    Storage conditions

    Store at a temperature no higher than 25 °C in the original packaging.
    Keep out of the reach of children.
