UniGel First Aid is a unique method of treating both minor cuts and abrasions, as well as difficult to heal wounds, burns and ulcers caused by insufficient venous or arterial circulation, bedsores, the so-called diabetic foot, which is a complication of long-term, untreated diabetes, postoperative and other skin lesions. UniGel creates a moist wound environment which is the basic principle of a modern wound healing method. In clinical trials and in postmarketing observations, UniGel has been shown to provide constant moisture within the wound, which supports the division and movement of cells, prevents the formation of dried scabs, and thus significantly accelerates healing. At the same time, UniGel maintains a constant temperature in the wound, which is also important for the proper course of the wound healing process.
Home wound care kit.
Hands should be washed before and after applying the dressing. Clean the wound, preferably by washing with a saline solution or clean water, of any dirt and remnants of previously used remedies that could irritate the wound. Dry the wound. Unscrew the cap and pierce the tube with it. Apply a small amount of gel to the wound surface (do not rub). The gel will absorb the wound exudate and other fluids. Cover the wound with a sterile, non-adherent gauze pad and secure it with a bandage or plaster. It is enough to apply the gel to small wounds and cover them with a plaster, leaving a margin of approx. 1 cm around the wound. Patients taking antibiotics or other medications for a known infection should continue treatment as directed by their doctor. In patients who require compression therapy, an elastic bandage should be used. After application, the gel swells and, thanks to its unique structure, does not stick to the wound, so it can be painlessly removed by gentle wiping. Dressings should be changed every 24-48 hours. In inflammatory conditions, it is recommended to change the dressing more often.
When treating complex wounds, follow the general rules of treatment, such as proper nutrition, keeping wounds clean, treating comorbidities, and following the doctor's instructions.
In the event of undesirable effects (increased pain, redness, etc.), discontinue use of the gel and consult a physician.
Keep out of the sight and reach of children. Do not swallow.
Do not use after the expiry date stated on the package.
Store in a dry place at 15–25 ° C.
