    Product description

    Valerin Max 360 mg is a herbal medicine with a sedative effect in the form of coated tablets.

    Indications

    Valerin Max is used:
    in mild states of nervous tension and anxiety.

    Composition

    1 film-coated tablet contains:
    • active ingredient: water-alcoholic extract from valerian root, dry (Valerianae radicis extractum hydroalcoholicum siccum, 8-11: 1) in the amount of 360 mg in combination with carriers (maltodextrin (29%) and colloidal anhydrous silica (1%)) (30 %), extractant: ethanol 60% (v / v),
    • excipients: tablet core: mannitol, maize starch, anhydrous calcium hydrogen phosphate, sodium laurilsulfate, lactose monohydrate (DCL 11), colloidal anhydrous silica, magnesium stearate. Tablet coating: hypromellose, hydroxypropylcellulose, brown HT E155, Capol 1295 (white beeswax and carnauba wax).

    Action

    Calming.

    Dosage

    • Always take the medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
    • Adults and children over 12 years of age: 1 tablet up to 3 times a day.
    • Do not take more than 4 tablets a day.

    Contraindications

    • Allergy to any of the ingredients of the preparation,
    • do not give to children under 12 years of age.
    • Pregnancy.
    • Lactation.
    • The preparation may impair the ability to drive and use machines.
    • Sugar intolerance.

    Storage

    Keep out of the reach of children, at a temperature not exceeding 25 ° C.

    Side effects

    This medicine, like any other medicine, can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
    Uncommon (affects less than 1 in 100 but more than 1 in 1,000 patients):
    • indigestion, stomach pain, nausea
    • various types of skin rashes,
    • hives and itching.
    Rare (affects less than 1 in 1,000 but more than 1 in 10,000 patients):
    • diarrhea, flatulence, constipation, vomiting, gastritis,
    • dizziness,
    • irritability, fatigue.
    Very rare (affects less than 1 in 10,000 patients):
    • peptic ulcers, gastrointestinal perforation or bleeding, tarry stools, bloody vomiting, ulcerative stomatitis, worsening colitis and Crohn's disease
    • aseptic meningitis,
    • heart failure and swelling
    • decrease in hemoglobin.
    Not known (frequency cannot be estimated from the available data):
    • airway hyperresponsiveness, e.g. asthma, asthma exacerbation, bronchospasm, shortness of breath.

    Warnings and Precautions

    Do not use in children under 12 years of age.
