Venolan 300mg is a preparation used to treat, inter alia, varicose veins of the lower extremities, disorders of the venous and lymphatic circulation as well as the tendency to ecchymosis and hemorrhages. The active substance of the preparation is troxerutin, which protects the blood vessels. The preparation in the form of oblong pink-brown capsules. Venolan 300mg is intended for adults.
Treatment of the following diseases and conditions:
1 capsule contains:
Protective for blood vessels.
Unless your doctor tells you otherwise, take:
1 capsule 2-3 times a day, after meals.
Maintenance dose: 1 capsule daily after a meal.
Use orally, preferably after a meal.
Swallow the capsules whole with a drink of water.
If you have the impression that the effect of the preparation is too strong or too weak, consult your doctor.
Do not use the preparation:
Keep out of the sight and reach of children, at a temperature below 25˚C.
Do not throw in wastewater or household waste.
Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medications no longer needed. Such behavior will help to protect the environment.
Like all medicines, Venolan can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
Venolan is generally well tolerated. Side effects, if any, are mild and temporary.
Rare occurrences (less than 1 in 1,000 patients treated):
Adverse reactions can be reported directly to the Department of Adverse Preparation Reaction Monitoring
Office for Registration of Medicinal Products, Medical Devices and Biocidal Products.
There are no known adverse effects of Venolan in combination with other preparations.
tell your doctor or pharmacist about all medications you are taking or have recently taken, as well as about medications you plan to take.
If you are allergic, which may include itching, rash, swelling of the face, lips, tongue or shortness of breath, see your doctor immediately.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine.
Venolan is not recommended during pregnancy.
It is not known whether the preparation is excreted in milk.
Breastfeeding women should not take Venolan.
Driving vehicles and operating machinery
There are no data on the adverse effects of Venolan on the ability to drive and use machines.
