Vicks Sinex Aloe and Eucalyptus is a topical spray preparation to relieve symptoms of nasal congestion that occurs in the course of a cold or rhinitis. The active substance of the preparation - oxymetazoline hydrochloride, acts directly on the receptors of the blood vessels in the nose and paranasal sinuses, reducing their swelling and congestion. The effect starts after a few minutes and lasts up to 12 hours. Vicks Sinex Aloe and Eucalyptus can be used in both adults and children 6 years of age and older.
Topical for the relief of symptoms of nasal obstruction found in colds or sinusitis.
1 ml of solution contains:
Unblocking the nose and reducing swelling and congestion of the nasal mucosa.
Adults and children over 10 years of age: 1-2 sprays into each nostril no more than 2-3 times a day.
Children 6-10 years of age: 1 spray into each nostril no more than 2-3 times a day.
Do not exceed the recommended dose. The preparation should not be used for a period longer than 5-7 days in a row. Prolonged use of the spray can cause nasal congestion. If symptoms worsen or do not improve within 3 days of starting treatment, consult your doctor.
Allergy (hypersensitivity) to oxymetazoline hydrochloride or any of the other ingredients of the preparation.
Use (currently or within the last two weeks) of monoamine oxidase inhibitors.
Severe heart disease or shortness of breath due to heart failure.
Increased pressure in the eye (narrow-angle glaucoma).
Inflammation of the skin or mucosa of the nasal vestibule or nasal crusts.
Do not use:
Keep out of the sight and reach of children, at a temperature below 25 ° C.
Use within 12 months of first opening the bottle.
Vicks Sinex Aloe and Eucalyptus, like any other medicine, can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
