Powder for preparation of solution for external use, complete with solvent and applicator "Zineryt®" method for the treatment of acne.
1 ml of the prepared solution contains (active ingredients):
Excipients (solvent): diisopropylate, anhydrous ethanol.
Zineryt® is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to erythromycin or other macrolide antibiotics or to zinc, di-isopropyl sebacate, ethanol.
The beginning of treatment, liquid from a vial with a solvent must be poured into a vial with a powder. After that, the bottle must be shaken until the powder dissolves, and then close the lid with the applicator that is attached.
Instructions for preparing the mixture "Zenerit®":
The package contains two bottles (bottle A and B) and one applicator. Open the caps on both bottles. Save the cap with vial A, which contains the powder.
Pour the solvent from bottle B into bottle A, which contains the powder. Empty bottle B can be discarded.
Close vial A, which contains powder and solvent, with the cap it contains.
Shake bottle A immediately for one minute.
Remove the cap from bottle A and fit the applicator.
Push the cap that contains the applicator into the full bottle and close tightly.
Now you can open the cap from the bottle and check that the applicator is securely held. Press down firmly on the applicator if necessary.
The solution is stable for 5 weeks after preparation. Mark the expiration date on the bottle.
"Zineryt®" is applied in a thin layer on the skin of the face or on the affected areas (not only on the affected area itself) until the entire area is covered, which must be used approximately 0.5 ml of the preparation). Application of Zineryt® is carried out by tilting the bottle with the applicator so that the applicator is against the skin, and rubbing the skin with the applicator with light pressure. The amount of Zineryt® is regulated by the force of pressure.
Zineryt® is used 2 times a day, usually for 10-12 weeks. A noticeable therapeutic effect is usually achieved within the first 12 weeks. The patient should consult a doctor for an examination for the reliability of the resistance of the bacterial microflora. If resistance of bacterial microflora occurs, stop using the preparation for 2 months.
Pregnant
The data obtained when used during pregnancy show the damaging effect of erythromycin on pregnancy or the child. Erythromycin can be used during pregnancy.
Only a small amount of erythromycin is excreted in breast milk.
Fertility data show nothing special.
Children
The preparation can be used in children over 12 years of age in connection with clinical trials in children who have reached puberty.
Drivers
There is no data on the effect of the preparation "Zenerit®" on the ability to drive a car or work with other mechanisms. However, any impact is unlikely.
Taking into account the pharmaceutical form, accidental overdose is unlikely.
Acute poisoning with a single ingestion of the entire contents of the package of the Zineryt® preparation will result in symptoms of a short-term toxic effect due to the content of pure alcohol in the preparation.
Skin and subcutaneous tissue disorders: infrequently (> 1/1000, <1/100) - itching, erythema, skin irritation, burning sensation of the skin, dry skin, peeling of the skin.
Store at a temperature not exceeding 25 ° C, out of the reach of children.
Store ready-to-use for 5 weeks at a temperature not exceeding 25 ° C. If further treatment with Zineryt® is required, a new package must be purchased.
Shelf life is 2 years.
