The active substance in Zyx Bio is levocetririzine dihydrochloride. Zyx Bio is an antiallergic preparation. It is used to treat symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis (including chronic allergic rhinitis) with hives.

Adults and children from 6 years of age: 1 tablet daily.
If you are allergic to levocetirizine dihydrochloride or to any chemically related active substance (piperazine derivatives, e.g. hydroxyzine, cinnarizine, flunarizine) or any of the other ingredients of this medicine
If you have severe kidney disease (severe renal failure with a creatinine clearance less than 10 ml / min).

At the first signs of a hypersensitivity (allergy) reaction, stop taking Zyx Bio and contact your doctor or the nearest hospital immediately.

Talk to your doctor before using Zyx Bio:
If you have kidney disease. You may need to use a lower dose. Your doctor will decide the dose of your medicine.
If you may have difficulty emptying your bladder (for example, with a condition such as spinal cord injury or an enlarged prostate gland).
If you have hereditary problems of galactose intolerance, the Lapp lactase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption as Zyx Bio contains lactose.
The preparation may alter the results of skin allergy tests. If your doctor orders such tests, you should stop taking Zyx Bio for 3 days before the tests.
