Echinasal is a herbal preparation in the form of a syrup. The composition of the preparation contains an extract of lancet plantain, grindelia herb and rose fruit, thyme herb extract and echinacea herb juice
purple. Echinasal syrup is intended for use as an agent activating the body's immunity. The effectiveness of the preparation is based on long-term use and experience.

The preparation supports the body's immunity.
Always take the medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure.
Children from 3 to 7 years of age: only after consulting a doctor.
Children from 7 to 12 years of age: 1 table spoon (15 ml) twice a day.
Adolescents over 12 years of age and adults: 1 table spoon (15 ml) 3 to 4 times a day.
The duration of the treatment should not exceed 10 days.
If symptoms worsen or do not improve after a few days, consult your doctor.
In prophylactic use (in periods of increased respiratory tract infections), use half of the therapeutic doses.
Children from 3 to 7 years of age: only after consulting a doctor.
Children from 7 to 12 years of age: 1 table spoon (15 ml) once a day.
Adolescents over 12 years of age and adults: 1 table spoon (15 ml) twice a day.
Prophylactic use of the preparation requires many days of administration, but not longer than 20 days
Hypersensitivity to the active substances or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
Do not use the preparation if the patient is allergic to plants from the complex family (Asteracae - Compositae), such as chamomile, calendula, yarrow, dandelion, arnica.
Do not use in systemic diseases: tuberculosis, leukemia, AIDS, HIV infections, multiple sclerosis, collagenosis (connective tissue diseases), autoimmune diseases (diseases which are caused by the immune system's reaction against the body's own tissues).
The preparation should be stored below 25 ° C, out of the reach and sight of children.
Like all medicines, Echinasal can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
Not known:
Echinasal should not be used together with preparations that impair liver function and immunosuppressants (e.g. corticosteroids, cytostatics, antibodies, cyclosporine, tacrolimus, sirolimus, interferon, mycophenolate).
The preparation contains sucrose. If you have been diagnosed with an intolerance to some sugars, consult your doctor before taking the preparation.
The medicine contains small amounts of ethanol (less than 100 mg per dose).
Kids
Due to the lack of well-controlled clinical trials of the preparation in children and the presence of ethanol (up to 1% m / m), it is not recommended to administer the preparation to children under 3 years of age.
In children aged 3 to 7 years, it should be used only after medical consultation.
There are about 65 mg of ethanol in a teaspoon of syrup.
