Femannose N is a medical device intended for the prevention and supportive treatment of cystitis and related diseases with a microbiological basis. The D-mannose contained in the product has properties that can alleviate the most common symptoms of lower urinary tract infections, including burning sensation when urinating, frequent urination or urge to urinate when the infection is caused by Escherichia coli. The action of D-mannose is to inhibit the adherence of pathogens to the epithelium of the urinary tract after their penetration into the genitourinary system. This results in a reduction in the virulence of the microbes or their ability to adhere to urinary tract tissue, helping to prevent recurrence of infection. Femannose N can complement antibiotic treatment as its antimicrobial effects are different and relate to 'mechanical' prevention of a recurrence of the infection. Importantly, the Femmanose N medical device does not contribute to drug resistance.
Prevention and supportive treatment of cystitis and other lower urinary tract infections, including bacterial urinary tract infections (UTIs).
Adults and children over 14 years of age:
supportive treatment of acute cystitis:
from the 1st to the 3rd day: 3 sachets a day,
4th and 5th day: 2 sachets a day,
prophylaxis of inflammation of the bladder (cystitis):
1 sachet daily.
The sachet should be opened just before use and its contents dissolved in a glass of water. Taking individual sachets should be separated during the day. In order to prevent recurrence of infection, the use of the medical device should be continued for one month. When taking the product, it is recommended to drink at least two liters of water a day, which will increase the amount of urine output.
1 sachet (4 g) contains:
active ingredient: D-mannose 2g,
excipients: sweeteners (fructose, sucralose), citric acid, color (beetroot root), anti-caking agent (silicon dioxide), flavor.
Known hypersensitivity or intolerance to any of the components of the medical device.
The product should not be used in children under the age of 14.
Tests have shown that the components of the medical device are safe, biocompatible and well-tolerated, and in the case of the dosage required for treatment, they do not cause side effects, except for individual intolerance, which may result in nausea, flatulence and loose stool (if symptoms of intolerance persist, consult see your doctor).
There are no known interactions between the components of the medical device and dietary supplements, however these products, including vitamins, nutrients and herbal and homeopathic medicinal products, should be taken at least two hours before / after using Femannose N.
Taking Femannose N together does not affect the effectiveness of the antibiotics.
D-mannose is not metabolized and therefore does not interact with other substances.
Store the medical device in a dry place, away from direct heat and light, at a temperature below 25 ° C, out of the reach of children.
The medical device should be used only after prior consultation with a doctor or pharmacist.
Do not exceed the recommended dose.
If there is no clear improvement after three days of use, stop taking the preparation and consult a doctor.
Do not take the products for more than 30 days, and if symptoms persist, consult a physician.
Femannose N is not a substitute for antibiotic treatment of urinary tract infections.
Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult a doctor before using the product.
