The Klosterfrau Healthcare Group is a Cologne-based, modern and progressive company with tradition, whose origins go back to 1826. At that time, the nun Maria Clementine Martin founded a small company in the immediate vicinity of Cologne Cathedral to manufacture her medicinal products. In this way, the "nun" wanted to share her rich knowledge of the healing powers of nature with everyone around her. Creating health and wellbeing for people is and remains the ambitious goal of the activities of the Klosterfrau Healthcare Group.

The best-known preparation in the range is the real monastery woman Melissa spirit. The emblem with the three nuns in a gothic pointed arch is known to 96 percent in Germany and has become a symbol of health and trust for generations of people. Its effects on the nerves, head, heart and stomach have long been scientifically proven. The traditional and at the same time modern natural medicine has grown in importance today.
