    Pharmacological properties

    Pharmacodynamics. Complex homeopathic preparation for the treatment of diseases of the musculoskeletal system. has anti-inflammatory, analgesic effect, normalizes the level of uric acid in blood plasma. the active components of the preparation inhibit the formation of interleukin (IL) -1 and IL-6, tumor necrosis factor, as well as other pro-inflammatory cytokines, block the mitotic activity of neutrophilic granulocytes, lymphocytes, fibroblasts, thereby preventing the destruction of cartilage tissue in the affected joints.

    Indications

    Acute and chronic arthritis, polyarthritis; joint damage with rheumatism; gout, gouty arthritis; deforming osteoarthritis; osteochondrosis; musculoskeletal system injuries; neuralgia, myalgia, myositis, arthralgia.

    Application

    In the chronic course of the disease, the initial dose is 5-10 drops 1-3 times a day. if the effect is insufficient, the dose should be increased to 15 drops 3 times a day. the duration of therapy is determined individually, but it should be at least 4-6 weeks.
    In acute cases, appoint 5-10 drops every 30-60 minutes, but no more than 12 times a day. With a decrease in the severity of inflammatory phenomena, the dose is reduced to 10 drops 3 times a day, in which the preparation is taken for 1 month. In the future, they switch to taking the preparation in a maintenance dose - 10 drops once a day or every other day for a long time.
    Drops are taken 30 minutes before or 30 minutes after a meal on a piece of sugar or bread, slowly dissolving them, or with a sip of water, keeping it in your mouth as long as possible.

    Contraindications

    Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation. the use of the preparation  in children has not been studied enough. its appointment to children under the age of 12, as well as during pregnancy and lactation is not recommended due to the alcohol content.

    Side effects

    Rarely - photosensitivity. possible hypersensitivity reactions to the components of the preparation.

    Special instructions

    After taking the first dose of the preparation, a short-term increase in the main symptoms of the disease is possible (the homeopathic effect of the first dose). in this case, it is necessary to temporarily reduce the dose or frequency of administration. the first signs of improvement are noted 1 week after the start of treatment.
    Due to the content of ethyl alcohol, the use of Homvio-Revman in patients with liver diseases, epilepsy or with organic lesions of the nervous system is recommended under the supervision of a physician.
    In the recommended doses, it does not affect the speed of psychomotor reactions when driving and working with potentially dangerous mechanisms, however, it should be borne in mind that the preparation contains ethyl alcohol.
    Smoking, drinking alcohol and tonic drinks (tea, coffee) have a weakening effect on the effect of homeopathic remedies.

    Interactions

    Cases of incompatibility with other preparations have not been described.

    Overdose

    A significant overdose of the preparation can cause alcohol intoxication. the use of the entire contents of the bottle (50 ml) corresponds to the introduction into the body of 22 g of ethyl alcohol.
