Docusate sodium is a surfactant (anionic detergent) that reduces surface tension and facilitates the penetration of water and fats into the fecal masses in the large intestine.
Adults and children over 12 years of age are administered rectally 1 suppository twice a day. Before use, tear the triangular end of the foil open and remove the suppository from the blister.
Inflammatory diseases of the large intestine, hemorrhoids, anal fissure, intestinal obstruction, unexplained abdominal pain, hypersensitivity to the preparation ingredients.
