Pharmacodynamics. Phleboton is a capillary and venotonic agent. has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects, inhibits hyaluronidase. prevents the oxidation of hyaluronic, ascorbic acid and adrenaline, suppresses lipid peroxidation. troxerutin reduces capillary permeability and fragility, prevents damage to the basement membrane of endothelial cells by various factors and, in addition, also has membrane stabilizing, antihemorrhagic, detoxic, antiallergic, venotonic properties. reduces edema, improves trophism and reduces the severity of other symptoms associated with venous insufficiency or impaired outflow of lymphatic fluid.

Pharmacokinetics. Cmax is established 2-8 hours after oral administration. The decrease in plasma concentration is bioexponential. At first, the plasma concentration decreases progressively within 40 hours, after which it decreases very slowly. Binds to blood plasma proteins in the range of 27-29%. Metabolized by glucuronidation. Within 24 hours, the main part (up to 70%) is excreted in the bile, and an insignificant (25%) in the urine.

For symptomatic treatment:

Take the capsules with meals with a glass of water.

The usual dose is 2 capsules per day. Supportive treatment - 1 capsule per day for 3-4 weeks. This treatment can be combined with the simultaneous application of the gel. The effectiveness of treatment depends on the frequency of administration, correct dosage and duration of therapy. Clinical experience proves that sometimes the desired effect is observed when using doses exceeding 600 mg (2 capsules) per day. The dosage and duration of the preparation intake is determined by the doctor, taking into account the nature, severity and course of the disease.

Children. There is no data on the use of the preparation in children.

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or any of the excipients.

Peptic ulcer and duodenal ulcer, chronic gastritis (in the acute phase).

Patients with edema of the lower extremities as a result of diseases of the heart, kidneys or liver should not use the preparation, because it is ineffective in these conditions.

The preparation should be used with caution in patients with severe liver and gallbladder diseases. Since the preparation irritates the stomach lining, it should be taken with food.

The preparation contains lactose, therefore, patients with galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not use the preparation.

E110 dye can cause allergic reactions.

The risk of developing allergies is higher in patients with hypersensitivity to acetylsalicylic acid.

Application during pregnancy or lactation. In accordance with general clinical practice, use in the first trimester of pregnancy is not recommended. In the II and III trimester, as well as during lactation, it is recommended to use the preparation as prescribed by a doctor, when the expected benefit from its use for the mother outweighs the possible risk to the fetus.

The ability to influence the reaction rate when driving vehicles or other mechanisms. Phleboton does not affect the reaction rate when driving or working with other mechanisms.

The preparation enhances the effect of ascorbic acid on strengthening the structure and reducing the permeability of the vascular wall.

Symptoms manifestations of adverse reactions may increase.

Treatment. Stop taking the preparation. It is recommended to induce vomiting or gastric lavage and symptomatic treatment. Peritoneal dialysis can be prescribed if necessary.
