"TauRetina" - capsules for the regulation of visual functions.
Taurine is a sulfur-containing amino acid formed in the body during the conversion of cysteine. It has anti-cataract, metabolic and cardiotonic properties. Plays a large role in lipid metabolism, contributes to the normalization of the function of cell membranes, optimization of energy and metabolic processes, preservation of the electrolyte composition of the cytoplasm (due to the accumulation of potassium and calcium ions). In the brain, it acts as a neurotransmitter that inhibits synaptic transmission and has anticonvulsant activity. It normalizes the metabolism of eye tissues in diseases of a dystrophic nature.
Coenzyme Q10 contains ubiquinone, a coenzyme that causes the product to have a vitamin-like effect on the body. Shows strong antioxidant activity and the ability to influence redox reactions in cells. Due to the neutralization of free radicals, it protects the cell membrane and DNA from free radical damage, is able to restore the activity of vitamin E in the fight against free radicals. Provides optimization of oxidative phosphorylation processes, participates in the regulation of lipid metabolism, optimizes metabolic processes. Coenzyme Q10 supplies cells with ubiquinone, which is incorporated into the electron transport chain in the mitochondrial apparatus (from the complexes of NADH dehydrogenase and succinate dehydrogenase) with an increase in ATP synthesis, which improves the supply of energy to cells. Ubiquinone has a positive effect on the functioning of the immune system, slows down the aging process at the cellular level.
Tagetes erecta (marigolds) contain a unique amount of carotenoids - lutein and zeaxanthin, which increase the density of macular pigment and reduce the risk of two age-related eye diseases: age-related macular degeneration and cataracts.
Lutein and zeaxanthin are the only carotenoids found in the blood and all tissues of the body, including the central region of the retina called the macula. The highest concentration (up to 70% of the absorbed dose) is in the macula, moreover, lutein and zeaxanthin come in part from food sources, and mesoxanthin can be directly synthesized in the retina from lutein.
There is more lutein at the edges of the retina, zeaxanthin in the center. They act as antioxidants and absorb active radiation of the blue part of the spectrum, thereby protecting the sensitive receptors of the eye - rods and cones - from damage. Carotenoids are best accumulated in tissues that are most at risk of free radical damage. In the popular scientific literature, they are called "natural sunglasses" for their ability to "cut off" the spectrum of UV radiation harmful to the retina. Carotenoids not only protect the eyes from damage, but also help repair processes by supporting collagen synthesis.
Turmeric contains vitamins K, B3, B2, C, B, as well as calcium, iodine, phosphorus and iron. Turmeric is a powerful natural antibiotic that regulates bowel function, increasing the activity of the intestinal flora and improving digestion, especially in debilitated and chronic patients. Curcumin contained in turmeric has an anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect, lowers the level of cholesterol, normalizes metabolism and regulates metabolic processes, and has a wound healing property. Shows the same effectiveness as cortisone or phenylbutazone, in acute inflammation, half weaker - in chronic inflammation, but without side effects.
Zinc gluconate is a trace element that plays an important role in cell metabolism and stabilization of cell membranes. It is a constituent of many enzyme systems in which it is either a coenzyme or an integral part of the enzyme. Takes part in the regulation of the synthesis of proteins and carbohydrates. The presence of zinc is a prerequisite for the normal functioning of the immune system. Zinc has a positive effect on memory, promotes the absorption of vitamin A, which is necessary for maintaining vision, especially in children. Supplying the body with zinc is a good prevention of myopia. Zinc improves visual acuity and helps the eyes adapt more quickly to darkness. Amino acids contribute to a more complete assimilation of zinc. Once in the human body, zinc is concentrated in the pancreas, liver, pituitary gland, retina, skin, nails, hair and bones.
Copper is part of many proteins in our body, including enzymes necessary for lipid metabolism and for the formation of the myelin sheath of nerve fibers. It is necessary for the formation of collagen - the main structural protein of connective tissue, for the immune system and the synthesis of prostaglandins with anti-inflammatory and anticoagulant effects. Copper is part of the enzyme superoxide dismutase, which is involved in neutralizing free radicals that accelerate aging in the body. Activates enzymes to neutralize free radicals, and is also an activator for the production of melanin and collagen skin cells. Copper is essential for the normal functioning of the copper-dependent enzymes superoxide dismutase (antioxidant protection) and has anti-inflammatory activity. Gluconate acts as a conductor of copper, helps its assimilation by cells, and participates in cell regeneration.
"TauRetina" is recommended as an additional source of vital amino acids, trace elements, enzymes and biologically active substances of plant origin in order to optimize the functioning of normal metabolic processes in the body, including for the regulation of visual functions, to reduce the risk of progression of age-related maculopathy.
Each hard capsule contains:
Taurine 100 mg
Coenzyme Q10 - 5 mg
Tagetes erecta (marigolds) dry extract: 10% in lutein ether 100 mg and 4% zeaxanthin.
Zinc gluconate - 101.07 mg (in terms of zinc - 12.5 mg).
Copper gluconate - 3.65 mg (in terms of copper - 0.5 mg).
Curcuma longa (turmeric), dry extract of 95% curcumin - 52.63 mg.
Excipients and the wall of the white acid-resistant capsule: dibasic calcium phosphate, silicon dioxide, gelling agent and titanium dioxin (E171).
Consume one capsule daily with food for at least 6 months.
Do not exceed the recommended dose.
The period of pregnancy and lactation - you should consult a doctor before using the preparation, paying attention to the fact that zinc penetrates the BBB, and the appointment of ubiquinone to pregnant women does not have sufficient scientific evidence of the safety of its use in this category of patients.
Not recommended for children.
Exceeding the daily dose of zinc can lead to dyspepsia (pain, nausea, heartburn, vomiting, jaundice, diarrhea) and a decrease in blood pressure (these symptoms disappear after drinking a lot of milk or water and discontinuing the product).
Gram quantities of copper can provoke liver and kidney disease, myocardial infarction, anemia, seizures, and so on (treatment for copper poisoning is symptomatic and may include the use of chelates and metal absorbing agents, and dialysis).
