BIOFTA

BIODUE SpA has been active since 1986 in the production and marketing of cosmetics, food supplements and medical devices; following the success of its own dermatological brand "Pharcos", the BiodueOftalmica eye line was born in 2007, later called "BIOFTA", initially consisting of a range of specific food supplements for each eye area: CORNEIAL cpr for the anterior segment, VITREOIAL and TAURETINE for the posterior and CITINERV for the optic nerve.

In 2009 the first treatment for periocular application with liposomal nanotechnology "made in Italy" was launched, indicated for alterations of the tear film: IPOLAC SPRAY.

In May 2010, the first Italian line of ophthalmic cosmetics dedicated to the "care" of the periocular area, OFTALDERM, was born, including the wipes and the detergent for hygiene and the gel for the treatment, to which the only specific product was recently added on the market for the hygiene of the eyelid margin, Oftalderm Scrub.
