A preparation containing live bacterial cultures. Promotes the restoration of normal vaginal microflora.

Indications for use

Vagisan is used in women and girls who have reached puberty in order to prevent and treat pathological changes in the vaginal microflora.

in the complex therapy of vaginal dysbiosis (bacterial vaginosis, thrush);
in the complex therapy of sexually transmitted infections;
against the background of antibiotic therapy;
during pregnancy, in the postpartum period;
with violations of the vaginal microflora, which are associated with stress, a decrease in immune defense;
after the use of hormonal preparations and treatment with other preparations that adversely affect the vaginal microflora (including oral contraceptives).

The dose and duration of the course of therapy is determined by the attending physician in an individual manner, depending on the type and nature of the pathological process, concomitant therapy.

Contraindications

Vagisan is not used in the presence of individual intolerance to the active and auxiliary components of this agent.

Vagisan is not recommended for use in girls before puberty.

Vagisan can be used to treat pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers if indicated.

Storage conditions

The preparation Vagisan must be stored, observing the temperature regime within 2–8 ° С. During use, store at a temperature not exceeding 25 ° C. The shelf life is 24 months.

Composition

1 capsule oral preparation Vagisan contains:

Live bacteria Lactobacillus reuteri RC-14 - 41 mg;
Live bacteria Lactobacillus rhamnosus GR-1 - 10 mg;
The total number of living bacteria is not less than 1x109 CFU.

Additional substances, including glucose.
